Early Preschool teachers provide a safe, nurturing environment where your child can explore and stretch their talents to the fullest all while building self-confidence. Health & Safety

Our Early Preschool Program is designed for children ages 24 to 32 months. At this stage, children are growing in independence, communication, social-emotional skills, and curiosity as they explore their world through hands-on learning and play.

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Lead Early Preschool Teacher

Hi, I’m Lorena, and I have been a proud member of the Primrose School of Parker family since March 2008. I began my journey as an Assistant Teacher in the Preschool classroom and continued to grow my experience and education, becoming a Lead Early Childhood Teacher in Early Preschool in 2010.

I love creating a nurturing, engaging classroom where children feel supported as they develop important social, emotional, and academic skills. There is no greater joy than watching my students grow, learn, and discover something new each day. I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of their early childhood journey and to help create a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Wonder Time in Early Preschool

Children’s Choice Learning Centers provide children with opportunities to develop essential skills like critical thinking and problem solving as they decide where to play today, how to use the materials in that center, and how long to stay there.

Wonder Time 2: Early Art Masters – Sweet Dreams 🌙🧸🎨

During Wonder Time 2, our Early Preschool learners explored Early Art Masters: Sweet Dreams through music, movement, and imaginative play. Children were encouraged to sing and role-play as they pretended to help their dolls get ready for bedtime. This engaging activity encouraged children to use their imaginations, express creativity, and practice pretend play while developing important social-emotional and communication skills. Through singing, gentle caregiving, and role-playing, children explored familiar routines in a fun and meaningful way. These hands-on learning experiences support creative expression, imaginative play, language development, social-emotional learning, and early childhood development while helping children build confidence in expressing themselves.

Wonder Time 1: Pet Store 🐶🐱📚

During Wonder Time 1, our Early Preschool learners explored the exciting world of pets through books and meaningful conversations. Children were encouraged to look closely at the animals they saw and describe how they were alike and different. As they compared animals, our young learners practiced observing details, identifying similarities and differences, and comparing and contrasting familiar objects. This activity helped strengthen early critical thinking, observation, language, and cognitive development skills. Through engaging books and hands-on learning experiences, children are building the foundational skills they need to understand and explore the world around them. At Primrose School of Parker, our Balanced Learning curriculum encourages curiosity, discovery, and meaningful learning through age-appropriate experiences.
