Welcome to the Primrose School of Parker!
We, Dan and Shannan Meyer along with Sarah Cleary, are the proud owners of this school as well as the Primrose School of Centennial and the Primrose School at Lowry.
Being Primrose Parents ourself, we know firsthand the importance of high-quality early childhood education and care. Shannan and Sarah have decades of experience in the early childhood field and are both Director Qualified by the State of Colorado. After many years working in the classroom and in adminsitration, we are proud to lead the Primrose School of Parker. Together, we promise to place the care and education of children first and will always strive to be a great workplace for our wonderful teachers and staff.

Learning, Growing, and Playing Outdoors!
At Primrose School of Parker, our outdoor playgrounds provide children with opportunities to explore, build friendships, and develop important skills through active play. From climbing and running to imaginative games and outdoor discoveries, our playgrounds encourage physical development, creativity, confidence, and teamwork. We believe outdoor play is an essential part of early childhood, giving children the freedom to move, explore, and learn while making joyful memories with their friends!

Growing Healthy Habits in the Primrose Patch! 🍅
Our Pre-K students are learning that healthy, delicious food can start right in our own backyard! In our Primrose Patch garden, students had the exciting opportunity to pick fresh tomatoes that will make their way back into our school lunch menu. Through hands-on gardening experiences, children discover where their food comes from, develop an appreciation for fresh ingredients, and learn how caring for a garden can nourish both our bodies and our minds. We love watching these little learners grow a love for healthy eating, one tomato at a time!
Fresh from the Primrose Patch! 🍅
A bowl full of freshly harvested tomatoes from our Primrose Patch is a wonderful reminder of what happens when little hands help things grow! Our Pre-K students took pride in picking these tomatoes, seeing firsthand how the food we grow can make its way to our table. These fresh ingredients will be incorporated into our school lunch menu, bringing our garden-to-table experience full circle!

Our garden-to-table experience comes full circle with this delicious pasta salad featuring fresh tomatoes harvested by our Pre-K students from the Primrose Patch! Children get to see how the fruits of their gardening efforts can become part of a nutritious meal served right here at school. Experiences like these help foster an appreciation for fresh foods, encourage healthy eating habits, and make learning about nutrition fun, meaningful, and delicious!

Are all staff members background-checked and CPR/first-aid certified?
Yes. Every Primrose staff member undergoes a thorough background check before joining our school. All staff are also CPR and first–aid certified, so you can feel confident your child is in safe, prepared hands every day.
What curriculum or educational philosophy do you follow?
Our school uses the proprietary Primrose Schools Balanced Learning® curriculum, which is research-informed and designed to nurture the whole child — intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically. We believe in balancing teacher-guided learning with purposeful play to build a strong foundation for the future.
How do you support school readiness and the transition to kindergarten?
All of our programs are designed in age-appropriate ways to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond. We focus on early literacy and numeracy as well as social-emotional skill development — so children arrive at kindergarten confident and ready to thrive. 96% of Primrose Schools Pre-K students met ASQ benchmarks for problem solving.*
