Hi, families! My name is Meg Biddle, and I am proud to be the Director of the Primrose School of North Wilmington. I served as the director of the Primrose School of Wilmington at Medical Center from the time we opened in 2020 until the opening of North Wilmington. I spent the first year of North Wilmington as a Regional Director, helping our schools make the transition to a two school system, and now I am excited to be here full time.

My specialty is communication, and I look forward to getting to know you as well as your children. I want every family to have someone they know and feel comfortable with to partner with them on their child’s journey through Primrose. I will always make time to sit down and talk with you. My door, and our door, is open. Welcome!

I was drawn to Primrose by the Balanced Learning Curriculum, which is taught in every classroom from infants to Pre-K. As someone who has worked in the field of early education for over 20 years and raised children of her own, I know first hand how fundamental early education is to development. Balanced Learning teaches the whole child–valuing emotional and physical development equally with academic development. It gives space for exploration and excitement, as well as teacher support and scaffolding. In the classroom, our students are scientists and explorers, artists and dancers; athletes and architects. I am always thrilled to see engaged faces as I move through the building.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in English, a Master’s Degree in Writing, and Director’s and Early Educator’s Credentials. I was a toddler teacher for 11 years, and that age group will always hold a big piece of my heart. I am passionate about the first 2000 days of development, and especially value the learning and attachment of our youngest children. I am proud to be a part of the story of the Wilmington Primrose Schools, and look forward to continuing that journey at the Primrose School of North Wilmington.

Hello, my name is Keva Bradley. I was born here in Wilmington and I have lived here all my life. I have three beautiful girls that I love dearly. I have been in the childcare field for 22 years. I love working with children because it gives me a chance to see them develop first hand, as they grow and flourish under our care. Many families rely on childcare so that they can work; they entrust us with their children to love and nurture, and I consider it a privilege to do so. I am so glad to be a part of the Primrose Team and can’t wait to see how many children’s lives we touch.

Hello! I’m Katharine, but most call me Kat. I was born in Durham, North Carolina. I went to school at Peace College in Raleigh where I got my BA with a concentration in education. I’ve been lucky enough to be in the field of early childhood education for the last eight years. When I’m not at school I’m hanging around town with my three year old. We love going to Long Leaf Park!

Hi! My name is Alesia. My favorite thing about working for Primrose is putting a smile on the kids faces by cooking them a good meal. MY favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. In my free time I like to pamper myself, shop, travel, and relax. I’m so happy to be at Primrose, I look forward to meeting you all!

Hi my name is Ashlynn. I’m excited to be part of the Primrose team. I’ve been in childcare for 8 years.  I absolutely love being in the infant and toddler rooms.I currently have two children and one on the way.  I love going on the boat and spending time with my kids. I am looking forward to meeting all the families and watching your children grow!!

I’m Jennifer! Most call me Ms. Jen as Jennifer is hard for young kids to say. I have been working with children in childcare since I was 18 and could so about 17 years on and off. I am from Western NC and that is where I started my love for working with children. I have taken a couple classes in college however I do not have a degree yet. My goal is to stay in early childhood education and possibly be in administration one day! Overall, I want to welcome everyone to our class and hope that I can teach others with the best of my ability.

Hello! My name is Maria. I moved from Vegas after living there for 14 years. I’m originally from South Carolina! I decided to move back east to be closer to family. I have been working with kids for around 5 years. I enjoy working with kids and seeing them learn and grow. I love to learn new things and am excited to grow more working here at Primrose.

Hello Primrose Families! My name is Kat O.  I’ve lived here in Wilmington for 35 years. I have raised 3 boys, my youngest just turned 21. I also have a 2 yr old grandson whom I love and spoil rotten. I have always had a strong passion for taking care of others. I was a CNA for 10 years and now I’m going to school for Early Childhood Education. I feel so honored to be a part of the Primrose community!!

Hello, my name is Devonna, and I’m 24. I love working with children and creating that bond with the child and family. I love to sing and dance around like the world isn’t watching. I have a very bubbly and sweet personality. I’ve been working with children pretty much my whole life, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love being able to help and teach kids; it is one of the few things that bring me joy. I can say that working with kids is where I belong.

Hello, My name is Madison! I have an associate’s degree in creative writing. I’ve been working in childcare for 6 years and have been babysitting all my life and was a paraprofessional with kindergartners. My favorite thing about working with children is their outlook of life and how everything is new. Children teach me something new every day. I have a cat named Shadow. In my personal time I love to read every chance I get, and I like to write short stories and poems.

Before becoming a mom to Jimi-Cristiano in 2022, I had already accumulated over 10 years of experience in teaching, coaching, and Early Childhood Education. After spending Jimi’s first year together as a stay-at-home mom, I was ready to teach again and get my toddler ready for school! We just recently transferred from Primrose School of Lake Norman to Primrose School of North Wilmington. We are beyond excited to join your community and are grateful for Primrose Schools.

Hi, my name is Jayla, and I was born and raised here in Wilmington. I was raised in a family full of teachers, and I’ve volunteered at various childcare centers during the past 3 years. I have been working full time at the Primrose School of Medical Center since June of 2022. I enjoy working with young kids and especially doing arts and crafts. I look forward to seeing your children learn and grow!

Hello my name is Nya. My favorite color is baby blue. My favorite hobbies include shopping and traveling. I love to watch tv and spend time with my family and friends. I have been working with kids since middle school starting off as a babysitter, and now I’m proud to be working as a preschool teacher!

Hello Primrose Families! My name is Casey Allen. I am originally from Kentucky. My father was in the Army so I grew up living all across our beautiful country as well as overseas in Europe. I moved to Wilmington in 1997 to attend UNCW.  After graduation I started teaching for New Hanover Schools. I taught at Williams Elementary for sixteen years. Thirteen of those years I taught in a kindergarten classroom. I am so excited to continue my teaching career here at Primrose School of North Wilmington. I love working in early childhood education because of the excitement young children have for learning. Everyday is an opportunity to learn something new and have fun! My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing educational environment for your children.  I have been married for twelve years and have a three year old son. My family and I enjoy going to the beach, surfing, riding bikes, playing at the park, and exploring all the beautiful places Wilmington has to offer. I can’t wait to work with your amazing children!

My name is Savannah, and my passion for teaching began 10 years ago when I became a Teacher’s Assistant at my dance studio. After my very first class, I was hooked and haven’t stopped teaching since! Over the years, I’ve taught students ranging from age 2 to adults in a variety of dance genres.

I’m thrilled to step into the classroom in a whole new way here at Primrose! When I’m not in the school or studio, you’ll likely find me with my nose in a book, spending time with my family, or hunting for treasure with my metal detector.

My name is Cassidy Taylor and I’m honored and humbled to be here at Primrose as an Assistant Teacher. I started my journey when I joined the Teacher Cadet program at Topsail High school and got my first preschool job when I moved to Okinawa, Japan. I’ve worked in childcare for 6 years and I previously worked at a Primrose! I love to sing and write, and in my free time you can find me playing with my cat Simba or binging my favorite TV shows. I plan to attend school next fall to further my skills and earn a degree in my passion, childhood education. I live in Wilmington, but I was born and raised in Erie, PA. Hello families, My name is Lindsey! I am originally from Wilmington, NC but went to college at Appalachian State University for two years and I am now back in Wilmington, continuing my education at UNCW!! My major is child development. I have always loved working with kids and knew from an early age that my dream was to become a teacher!! Being able to co-lead the preschool classroom here at Primrose is an honor. Other than teaching, I love going to the beach or park for walks! I also enjoy live music and trying new restaurants!! I’m 28 years old.  My fiancé, our pitbull and I moved here to Wilmington from Vermont about 3 years ago. My dogs name is Sophie, and I am getting married to my fiancé Josh the end of August 2024. I have been working with and around children for about 12 years. I have worked with all age groups, in a handful of schools up and down the east cost. Teaching is something I’ve always had a passion for; I love what I do everyday and the connections I have made through teaching. I’m honored and excited to be here at Primrose.

Hi, I’m Lauren Delavigne. I moved to Wilmington for college and quickly fell in love with the community, so after graduating, I decided to make it my home. After spending four years in tech sales, I realized my true passion lies in combining my creativity with my love for working with children, which led me to transition into graphic design and nannying. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with kids in a variety of settings, and now, I’m thrilled to be making a more meaningful impact at Primrose North Wilmington. In addition to my role at Primrose, I also freelance as a graphic designer, which allows me to continue pursuing my creative passions while contributing positively to the lives of children and families in my community. I’m truly excited to be part of an environment where I can help shape the next generation in both creative and impactful ways.

Hi, my name is Rosanna Lukas. I’m excited to be joining the Primrose North Wilmington Pre-K class! I am originally from New Bern, NC. I lived in California for many years with my family and we moved back to NC in 2021. I have 20 years of childcare experience, having worked in the Child Development Center, aboard Cherry Point Air Station. And inside my children’s classrooms, Kindergarten through High School, substituting all grades. I studied Fine Arts & Art History in Morehead City. Art is my passion and I love helping children discover their artistic abilities! Fun things I like to do with my family are, going to the beach, reading, going to theme parks & enjoying being outdoors in the sunshine ☀️
