Our Preschool Classroom
Your 3-year-old is opening up their world, developing special friendships, learning new words and forming new ideas every day. Through purposeful play, meaningful questions and direct instruction, our Preschool teachers encourage your child to think in new and different ways. Your child will have so much fun that they won’t even realize they’re developing the skills they’ll need for reading and math.

Claudia Gutierrez
Hi Primrose Families! My name is Claudia. I am a mother of three. One of the things I enjoy the most about working with young children is seeing their joy for life and how everything is interesting to them. When I am not at school I enjoy going for walks, reading, and cooking for my family.

Lindsey Decker
Hello families, My name is Lindsey! I am originally from Wilmington, NC but went to college at Appalachian State University for two years and I am now back in Wilmington, continuing my education at UNCW!! My major is child development. I have always loved working with kids and knew from an early age that my dream was to become a teacher!! Being able to co-lead the preschool classroom here at Primrose is an honor. Other than teaching, I love going to the beach or park for walks! I also enjoy live music and trying new restaurants!! I am so grateful I have the privilege of serving ILM families with love and care!
