Our Infant Classroom

We know the first year of life can have a big influence on a child’s success in the years that follow. That’s why teachers in your child’s Infant classroom provide a loving and nurturing environment as they lay the foundation for learning. This includes literacy; communication and vocabulary skills to help your infant better express their needs; gross motor skills and sensory development; and emotional well-being.

Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

  • Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Years Experience: I have been working with infants since 2007 and have loved it!

About me: I am a mother of three and also a grandmother of three. I have been married to my husband for 50 years, we were junior high sweethearts. I enjoy relaxing by watching Judge shows, netflix, lifetime movies and sports. In addition to that, I love facetiming with my beautiful grandchildren.

At Primrose, I feel my part is important because, I enjoy working and caring for infants. Pleasing parents and accepting the responsibility of giving them the best of me as they deserve. Through trainings, I know I am at the right school. I never worked for a school or any buisness that is more professional and complete then Primrose. I am proud to be here and will share my experience with the public, family and friends!

Years Experience: 5 years in the childcare field

About me: I like to sing and dance. I have had lots of experience in the childcare industry and even experienced working with children in a camp setting as a counselor. I also enjoy binge watching my favorite shows with my family and trying to learn to play piano! I also try to exercise often and listen to music!

At Primrose, I feel my part is important because it helps foster child learning and helps them grow. Not only are their parents helping them learn and grown but we as educators are that second barrier.
