Hello! We’re the proud owners, Kelly and Alan Maria, of Primrose School of North Las Vegas at Aliante!
Our Primrose journey began in anticipation of Alan’s retirement from the U.S. Marine Corps. We were searching for opportunities that would allow us to put down roots and build a bright future for our daughter, Kathleen, while at the same time giving back to our community. In our time in the Marine Corps, we have been fortunate to not only live in, but become part of, many communities here in the U.S. and abroad. With experience ranging from managing a private school’s business office to working in marketing, event management, and development for multiple nonprofits nationwide, I have had a diverse professional career. Alan’s career has taken our family across the globe and back again, and now we are thrilled to use our experience and passion for the community to help children foster a lifelong love of learning here in Las Vegas.
Our personal philosophies center around giving back. We have found the most joy and personal fulfillment throughout Alan’s military career while volunteering with various organizations. It is through volunteerism that we have been fortunate enough to find community in all the places we’ve lived. When we’re not volunteering in our community, we love the outdoors, camping, hiking, fishing, and discovering new and interesting things to do in our town.
We know just how much working families depend on their school of choice to provide a safe and nurturing environment for their children. We, too, have searched for the perfect place where we feel a true connection to the people we choose to trust with our child, one that also exceeds our educational goals for our most treasured gift. At Primrose, we believe who children become is as important as what they know. Our exclusive early learning approach balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. We deliver more than a curriculum; it’s a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families. We love Primrose and we know you will, too!
