I’m Gillian. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. With 6 years of experience in child care and additional Early Childhood Education courses, I find immense joy in witnessing the growth and development of children. “Love You Forever” is a heartwarming favorite children’s book that captures the essence of unconditional love. Halloween is my preferred holiday, filled with excitement and creativity. Our family tradition of play the Saran Wrap ball game adds laughter and bonding to our gatherings. In our English-speaking home, we are accompanied by our playful cats: Fergus, Amara, and Alistair. During my personal time, I unwind by immersing myself in books and enjoying the challenge of playing video games. These activities provide me with moments of relaxation and mental stimulation outside of my fulfilling work with children. 

I’m Tsione. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. 

I have four years of experience working with children and am currently attending UCCS to further my education. What I love most about working with kids is getting to watch them grow and hearing all the wonderful stories they share. One of my favorite children’s books is Chrysanthemum by Kevin Henkes, and my favorite holiday is Christmas. My family also celebrates Ethiopian New Year, and one of our most meaningful traditions is attending church together on Ethiopian Easter. At home, we speak both English and Amharic. In my free time, I enjoy going on walks, reading, and watching movies.

I have over a year of experience working in child care and truly enjoy being part of children’s early learning journeys. I graduated from high school in Grand Junction, Colorado, and have always had a passion for working with young children. My favorite part about working with children is the adventure that comes with it—their curiosity, imagination, and excitement for learning something new every day. I love helping expand their minds and encouraging their natural sense of wonder. One of my favorite children’s books is any of the Bruce books by Ryan T. Higgins. My favorite holiday is Christmas because of the joy and traditions it brings. At home, I have three dogs named Mischief, Odis, and Ember. In my personal time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, journaling, watching TV, and sometimes spending time cleaning and organizing.

Bri has been working with children for 5 years and holds a High School Diploma and a Colorado Level 2 PDIS Credential. She loves watching children learn, grow, and reach new milestones, and finds it incredibly rewarding to be part of their early childhood journey. Her favorite children’s books are Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and Goodnight Moon, and her favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because it brings family and loved ones together. One of Bri’s favorite holiday traditions is opening a special gift on Christmas Eve, a memory she looks forward to every year. Bri has an English Bulldog/Boston Terrier mix named Thor and an orange cat named Cheeto. When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys spending quality time with her son, exploring hiking trails, visiting new coffee shops, and relaxing while watching her favorite TV shows.
