Ms. Olson
My husband and I moved to South Carolina recently because of his job in the military. I’m originally from Logan, Utah which is almost 2,000 miles away! It’s been a big adventure moving, and I absolutely love it here. I’m currently in college studying Music Education. I teach private cello, violin, piano, and vocal lessons to kids ages 6-17 as well as a couple adults. Before I moved, I was also a nanny for a family that had a toddler and a teenager for almost two years. Studying education, teaching lessons, and nannying have all made my love for teaching grow. My grandma, mother, and sister are teachers and watching them change lives has been a big inspiration to my choice of career.
Other than teaching I love music, baking, gardening, going to the beach, and going on dates with my husband. I’m so excited to continue my teaching journey at Primrose. I’m looking forward to being able to guide and support children, and to continue to grow even more passionate about teaching!

Ms. Halle Prescott
My family and I relocated to the Charleston area from Maryland in 2014. We originally vacationed on IOP, so I have grown up loving Charleston since I was born! I consider myself a local now, since I have done most of my growing up here! I have been a nanny for the last eight years, to many different families and age groups. I am in the process of completing my bachelor’s in psychology at College of Charleston. Since 2020 I have also earned two associates, one in paralegal and one in arts. I am excited to use my many degrees to create a safe, exciting, and creative environment for your kiddos!
When I am not at Primrose, I am usually helping with my kiddos from nannying. You can also find me with my dogs, with my friends at the beach, painting, or doing my second favorite thing – photography. I enjoy the creativity of being a teacher, and most of all getting to see how creative the students are themselves. I am beyond ecstatic to grow my career here at Primrose and help students expand their knowledge. I am and have always been a helper, and I cannot wait to help you, my fellow teachers, and the students everyday!

Ms. Ashley Scheu
Hello, my name is Ashley Scheu, and I relocated from Minnesota to Charleston in February 2025. I have a bachelor’s degree in integrated special and elementary education from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Over the past five years, I have gained diverse teaching experience working in preschool, elementary, and high school settings, including an opportunity to teach abroad in Croatia. I’m excited to bring my varied background to Primrose and support learners as they grow and thrive!
Outside of teaching, I love spending time outdoors, hiking, visiting the beach, traveling, and being with family and friends. In the classroom, I’m passionate about incorporating fun into learning. I believe it fosters a positive environment, strengthens relationships with students, and inspires a love for learning!
