Mrs. Ambrose
Executive Director | Primrose School of Frisco at Independence
Primrose Team Member Since 2015
Hello! I am honored to serve as the Executive Director of Primrose School of Frisco at Independence. I’ve proudly been part of the Konrad group of Primrose Schools since 2015, and after nearly a decade with Primrose, my excitement and dedication to our mission continue to grow each day.
My journey in education continued after college in 2002, when I started my career at a private preschool. There, I taught Kindergarten and developed both the after-school and summer programs, sparking a lasting passion for nurturing young learners and helping them discover the joy of learning.
Before joining Primrose, I spent over nine years in a Senior Regional leadership role within a private Montessori education system where I played a key role in launching and overseeing five new locations in North Texas. That experience helped me build a deep understanding of school operations, curriculum development, and team leadership, all of which I now bring to my work at Primrose.
As Executive Director, I am deeply committed to creating a warm, safe, and academically enriching environment for every child and family we serve. It’s a privilege to lead such an incredible team of educators and to witness the meaningful impact that Primrose makes in the lives of our students and community every single day.

Franchise Owner
Mike and Joyce Konrad
Please allow us an opportunity to introduce ourselves. We are Mike and Joyce Konrad, the proud owners of eight Primrose School Franchises in the Dallas Fort Worth Area. We started with our first Primrose school in 1997 in the city of Bedford. Once we became immersed in the school, we realized that the parents of today truly valued the excellent, accredited, curriculum based child care that we were providing.
We are certain the Primrose concept can provide what parents need for complete peace of mind when they are looking for child care. The parents in our schools know that their children are safe, loved and happy, all the while learning with a balanced, developmentally appropriate curriculum. We know this, because countless parents have told us over the years how their children “surprise them” every day with what they learn at Primrose.
In addition we have many Public School Kindergarten and First Grade Teachers comment that they recognize the Primrose Children in their schools. They say that they arrive above and beyond “school ready” in their respective classes.
We are very proud of the Management and Teaching staff that we have at all of our schools. Because we have been able to achieve the Primrose “Exemplary” Status, we are able to attract some of the best directors and teaching staff in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area. The tenure of our management and teaching staff is exceptional because we are committed to the continuous training and development of our staff. Many of our teachers and mangers are promoted within our network of schools. As a result, we are fortunate to have a very professional, well-trained, Management and Teaching staff.
It goes without saying that our primary focus is on the safety and nurturing of your child. The additional layer of curriculum and character development programs round out what we know will be a truly positive experience for both you and your child.
We thank you for your time visiting Primrose School of Frisco at Independence. We want you to know that the trust a parent places in us when they leave a child in one of our schools is not taken lightly. We are committed to executing our programs and delivering to our parents and students what we promise.
