We are the proud owners, Chelsey and Brandon Derry, of Primrose School of Exeter. We are thrilled to bring Primrose Schools premier early education and care to the children and families of Exeter and the surrounding New Hampshire communities.
Before owning Primrose School of Exeter, both Chelsey and Brandon served in the United States Air Force, where they met. After Chelsey completed her duty in the Air Force, she pursued a successful career in Finance working for multiple organizations across the country and in the Seacoast of New Hampshire. In her career, her primary focus has been helping small local organizations grow to the next level of financial growth, while also being an active community member and mother of her children. Brandon, continues to serve in the New Hampshire Air National Guard, received his MBA from the University of New Hampshire, and followed the path of Aviation & Community support that led him to working as a Program Manager for General Electric.
When returning back to New England to raise their family, after completing an Active-Duty Air Force service commitment, both Chelsey and Brandon were faced with the task as working parents of trying to find quality child care that would help their two children physically, mentally and socially. In this pursuit, they discovered Primrose Schools, and instantly knew it was the right place for their children due to the unique and purposeful Balanced Learning® approach.
After experiencing Primrose Schools first-hand, Chelsey and Brandon became passionate about bringing to the Exeter community and were driven to make a career change. Chelsey focuses on the overall daily operations of school and managing the school’s financials, using her business degree from the University of New Mexico. Brandon manages the school’s marketing and community activities and also serves as the schools IT department.
Our goal at Primrose School of Exeter is to provide students with a safe and nurturing environment to learn and grow with Active Minds, Healthy Bodies and Happy Hearts® while providing parents with peace of mind knowing their children are receiving premier education while being well cared for.
We are conveniently located on McKay Dr., right down the road from Lincoln Street Elementary School and Main Street Elementary School. Unlike an ordinary daycare in Exeter, we provide your child with a robust early education and child care experience.
Infant, Toddler, Early Preschool, Preschool Pathways, Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, After School, Summer Adventure Club
At Primrose, your child will get more than an infant daycare experience. Our teachers help your child develop and grow, building one skill upon another, which is why we are the leader in infant child care.
Fostering a sense of belongingness has been a part of every day at Primrose for the past 40 years, and we’re excited to invite all families, from Primrose and beyond, to join in as we celebrate the annual National Day of Belongingness on September 29.
Try these easy at-home activities to promote character and social growth that will help children celebrate their similarities and differences, and help create connections with others.
To better meet the individual needs of every child, we’re proud to implement Ages & Stages Questionnaires® (ASQ®-3 and ASQ®:SE-2) in Primrose schools across the country.
Each Primrose school is held to high standards of safety and cleanliness while maintaining a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
There’s no question that parents want their preschoolers to grasp the basics of colors, numbers and letters to foster a lifetime of learning.
It might seem odd to think about your preschooler exploring data analysis and algebra.
It's a fact: children learn better when they are engaged. That's why purposeful play and nurturing guidance from teachers are key components of Balanced Learning. See how this time-tested approach with a strong emphasis on life skills and character development can help your child develop and excel.
