Our Toddler Classroom
An action-packed day full of fun and purposeful play helps toddlers develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. We know 1-year-olds are constantly on the move, exploring and learning through play at every turn. Primrose teachers use that energy and enthusiasm to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills through engaging games and activities.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts

Our Toddler Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Johnston
Hello,
I have a Bachelor’s in History/Social Studies and a Master’s in Secondary Education. After some time in the school system, mainly middle school, I found that my real passion is Early Childhood. I am currently studying Early Childhood Education at Concordia University. Formerly, I was a teaching assistant and then a lead teacher working with toddlers at a Montessori school.
I was born in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, and moved to the twin cities when I was one and a half. I lived in various suburbs before finding my home in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
I found my way to Primrose and loved the community aspect of the school. I love teaching young children because of their curiosity and desire to learn.
In my free time, I love to read and watch baseball games. I’m excited to be a part of the Primrose community!

Mrs. Gajula
I completed by Bachelor’s and worked for Google and Microsoft as a digital marketing associate. I love playing and reading stories and books to kids.

Mrs. Metcalfe
Hi, my name is Chandler and I have lived in the Twin Cities for 2 years. I am originally from Chicago. I am a foodie, musician, dancer, and history buff. When I am not molding young minds, you can find me either teaching a dance class or enjoying time with my husband and daughter.

Mrs. Menendez
Hi! I’m Mrs. Menendez, and I’m so happy to be a part of this wonderful school community! I was born in Virginia, raised in Florida, and recently moved to Eden Prairie, Minnesota with my family.
I’ve spent several years working in early childhood education, including at New Horizons in Palm Harbor, Florida, and caring for little ones has always been my passion. As both an infant teacher and a mom to an energetic two-year-old, I understand how important it is to know your child is in a safe, loving, and nurturing environment. I love celebrating every milestone and creating meaningful connections with each baby and their family.
When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my son, traveling, photography, and making memories with my family. We also have two fun-loving cats, Eden and Essie!
I’m excited to get to know you and your little one, and I look forward to helping make their first school experiences happy, comforting, and full of love.
