Our Toddler Classroom
An action-packed day full of fun and purposeful play helps toddlers develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. We know 1-year-olds are constantly on the move, exploring and learning through play at every turn. Primrose teachers use that energy and enthusiasm to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills through engaging games and activities.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts

Our Toddler Classroom Teachers & Staff

Mrs. Vanessa Ferguson
Hi, my name is Vanessa Ferguson from Round Rock Texas. My family moved to the Leander area in 1994. I graduated from Leander High School in 1998. I then went on to have four amazing children. Jason Jr. is 25 and currently enlisted in the Navy. We are proud he is serving our country and is out traveling the world but his mom (me) is impatiently waiting his return home. Nicole is 23. She is currently working as an assistant manager at Dominos while she finishes her course work at ACC in environmental science. Michael is 21 and is a wonderful father to my grand daughter Anna-Marie. We are expecting our second grandchild Michael Jr in August of 2025. Michael is a driver for Coreslab Structures as he has a passion for driving and mustangs. Dillion is 19 and he also works for Coreslab Structures in the steel fab department were he leads his crew and aspires to be plant manager one day like his father.
Having four children 18 nieces and nephews and a grand daughter, I have always had a love for children. I enjoy teaching them and helping them grow to be amazing people. I love to see the children’s face light up with excitement when they learn something new. I spent a few years as a religious education teacher at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church but when I saw the position for infant teacher become available in October of 2024 I knew it would be a great fit for me. I look forward to many years at Primrose helping shape child’s lives, helping learn to feed themselves, reading to them and helping them lear at such a young age. I am truly blessed to be apart of the family here at Primrose School of Crystal Falls.

Mrs. Maria Ontiveros
My name is Maria Ontiveros, and I am very excited to be working at Primrose School of Crystal Falls. This is my first time working in childcare and I’m absolutely loving it! I am originally from New Mexico, and have been living in Texas for 3 years. I have been married to a wonderful man for 15 years and we have three beautiful daughters.
I am happy to be a part of the Primrose family and am looking forward to seeing the children every day.

Ms. Cara Yarborough
