Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Mr. Schneider
Hello, my name is Mr. Blake Schneider and I am a Infant/Toddler Teacher here at Primrose. I previously worked with Primrose as a Food Service Teacher for four years. I have studied towards my Bachelors of Science at CSCC before pursuing my current studies in Emergency Medicine towards my ultimate goal in becoming a paramedic. I have a passion for children that fills my heart and inspires me. I enjoy all things outdoors, music, technology and many sports including boxing and college football. I look forward to meeting all of the children at the Primrose School of Columbus Downtown!

Ms. Burns
I’m Ms. Brandy Burns and I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
I am a teacher at The Primrose School of Columbus Downtown! I can’t wait to help your child grow through play, imagination and lots of laughter. I have been a stay at home mom for two years and am a graduate of Briggs High School. During my free time I like to spend time with my daughter. We enjoy going to the zoo or any local park. When I am not with my daughter I am usually with my plants or doing a fun DIY craft with friends! I look forward to creating a fun and nurturing environment your child can thrive in.

Ms. Arcos
Hello, I am Ms. Arcos and am a teacher at Primrose School of Columbus Downtown. I am excited to meet all of my friends. I graduated from Columbus Downtown High School in the early childhood program. I have seven years of experience working with children. During my free time, I like to do fun activities with my family. I am looking forward to helping students learn and build relationships with everyone.

Ms. Mohamud
Hello! My name is Ms. Mohamud and I am a support teacher here at the Primrose School of Columbus Downtown. I am originally from Tucson, Arizona and have been living in Columbus for 10 years. I have many nieces and nephews of my own that I cherish with my whole heart. In my free time, I like to listen to music, bake, and draw. I can’t wait to see the children learn and gain their confidence here at Primrose!

Ms. Tils
I’m Ms. Linsey Tils and I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I am originally from Lancaster, California and recently moved to the Columbus area. I have been working in childcare for 3 years now. I have 2 years of experience working with children in various age groups. I love to spend my weekends taking walks or making friendship bracelets. I can’t wait to meet everyone!
