We know the first year of life can have a big influence on a child’s success in the years that follow. That’s why teachers in your child’s Infant classroom provide a loving and nurturing environment as they lay the foundation for learning. This includes literacy; communication and vocabulary skills to help your infant better express their needs; gross motor skills and sensory development; and emotional well-being.

Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Mohamud
Hello! My name is Ms. Mohamud and I am a support teacher here at the Primrose School of Columbus Downtown. I am originally from Tucson, Arizona and have been living in Columbus for 10 years. I have many nieces and nephews of my own that I cherish with my whole heart. In my free time, I like to listen to music, bake, and draw. I can’t wait to see the children learn and gain their confidence here at Primrose!

Ms. Arcos
Hello, I am Ms. Arcos and am an infant teacher at Primrose School of Columbus Downtown. I am excited to meet all of my friends. I graduated from Columbus Downtown High School in the early childhood program. I have seven years of experience working with children. During my free time, I like to do fun activities with my family. I am looking forward to helping students learn and build relationships with everyone.

Ms. Tils
I’m Ms. Linsey Tils and I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I am originally from Lancaster, California and recently moved to the Columbus area. I have been working in childcare for 3 years now. I have 2 years of experience working with children in various age groups. I love to spend my weekends taking walks or making friendship bracelets. I can’t wait to meet everyone!

Ms. Pritchett
I’m Ms. Ashley Pritchett and I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I recently graduated from the Columbus College of Art and Design in May of 2024. My main focus was working in children’s art, I even wrote my own children’s book! I have spent years volunteering with my church working with the children and assisting with their family needs. In my free time I enjoy playing video games. I am most excited to meet all of the awesome children and families!

Ms. Goins
I’m Ms. Zy’Ahnna Goins and I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
I have four years of previous childcare experience. My favorite food is pasta. In my free time you can find me spending time with my family. I have a daughter who I love to hang out with!

Ms. Lee
I’m Ms. Rachel Lee. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
I recently moved to Ohio from California but spent most of my childhood here as well. I have achieved my Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management and am working to pursue my Masters of Education at Ohio State this year. I love to eat anything spicy and spending time outside going for hikes and enjoying nature. I am most excited to start working with children and learn more about them

Mrs. Evans
Hello, my name is Mrs. Kristin Evans and I am an Infant Teacher here at Primrose. I am from Ashville, Ohio. I attend school for Early Childhood Education and have two boys of my own. I enjoy helping children learn new skills and grow into their own personalities. I have been married to my husband for three years. We enjoy being outdoors and going camping. I can’t wait for my journey here at Primrose!

Mrs. Barbosa de Oliveira
I’m Mrs. Gabriela Barbosa de Oliveira. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
I am originally from Sao Paulo in Brazil. I moved to the United States and was an Au Pair for a family for a couple of years. In my free time I love to draw and spend time with my family. I am so excited to get to know my new students and spend time with them

Ms. Mendoza
I’m Ms. Maria Mendoza. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
This year is my first time working at a childcare center. Although, I have worked with children for many years now. I love caring for people and will eventually be pursuing a career in nursing. Outside of work I live to hike and go thrifting for vintage items. I am so excited to meet new people and expand my knowledge this year!

Mrs. Hubbard
Hello, my name is Mrs. Ginny Hubbard and I am an Infant Teacher here at Primrose. I have my CDA and have taken many early childhood training courses. I have been working in the early childhood field for over thirty years and I truly enjoy it. In my free time, I enjoy camping with my husband. I look forward to meeting and getting to know all of the children and families at the Primrose School of Columbus Downtown!

Ms. Watkins
I’m Ms. Juno Watkins and I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
I was born and raised here in Columbus, OH. This will be my first time in a professional setting working with children. I have tons of experience working with family and friends! In my free time you can often find me going to a park and enjoying some time outside. I am so excited to help my students learn and grow!

I am originally from Sandusky, OH. I have spent a majority of my life working with children and babysitting. I am looking forward to working with children and having the opportunity to teach them. I’m Ms. Maureen Clark and I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
I am an experienced educator with a passion for helping children learn and grow through creativity and exploration. With a background in teaching art, I have worked with children of various ages, fostering both curiosity and confidence. I enjoy creating projects, reading and spending time in nature. I love to bring these interests into the classroom to make learning fun and engaging. I am excited to join the team at Primrose!
