Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
Our Pre-Kindergarten Classroom Teachers & Staff
Candyce Smith
Ms. Candyce Smith joined the Primrose School of Braselton family in July 2025 and brings more than five years of Primrose experience to our school. Her passion for education began during college, where she participated in several internships and field experiences, including traveling to Ethiopia to study its education system. She began her Primrose career in North Carolina as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher and continues to bring her experience and love of learning into the classroom each day. She especially enjoys building meaningful relationships with children and families and looks forward to meeting new families who she knows will leave a lasting impact on her life.
Jennifer Winslow
Mrs. Jenny Winslow has been a valued member of the Primrose School of Braselton family since June 2023 and brings more than 20 years of experience working with children of all ages. Her extensive experience and love for children help her create a caring and engaging environment where students can learn, grow, and have fun each day. She especially enjoys watching children develop new skills, build confidence, and reach exciting milestones throughout the school year.
Jessica Rampley
Mrs. Jess Rampley has been a valued member of the Primrose School of Braselton family since January 2022 and brings more than 10 years of experience working with children of all ages. She is also a proud mom to a son who is in Kindergarten after growing up as a Primrose student, giving her the special perspective of experiencing Primrose as both a teacher and a parent. She enjoys helping children learn, grow, and develop while creating meaningful relationships along the way.
