Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Candyce Smith
Child care Experience: During college, I had several intern/field experience opportunities including traveling to Ethiopia to study the education system. I began my Primrose career over 5 years ago in North Carolina as a Pre-Kindergarten teacher. I joined the Braselton school in July 2025.
Favorite food: I love anything with potatoes!
Favorite sports team: Atlanta Falcons – because my brother works for them!
Favorite weekend activity: I love traveling and photography!
Favorite children’s book: I Love You Forever
What I’m most excited about this school year: I’m so excited to get to know the new families that I know will impact me for the rest of my life.

Jessica Rampley
Child care Experience: I have over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages. I am also the mother to one little boy who just entered elementary school, but has been a Primrose child. I started at the Primrose School of Braselton in January 2022.
Favorite Sports Team: Atlanta Braves
Favorite food: Seafood
Favorite weekend activity: I enjoy playing video games.

What I’m most excited about this school year: I am excited to get to know each child and do lots of fun activities.

Jennifer Winslow
Child care Experience: I have over 20 years of experience working with children of all ages. I have been at the Primrose School of Braselton since June 2023.
Favorite food: I love pepperoni pizza!
Favorite weekend activity: I enjoy going swimming when I can and spending time with my family.
