Many 2-year-olds want to do everything by themselves. And why not? It’s their way of experimenting and learning to understand the world. Early Preschool teachers provide a safe, nurturing environment where your child can explore and stretch their talents to the fullest all while building self-confidence. Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Maggie Davidson
Hi, my name is Maggie! I am from Tampa, Florida and moved to Georgia in 2025 with my daughter. I have a very loud and bubbly personality and love to make people smile! I am currently pursuing my Bioscience degree at Athens Tech with an end goal in Marine Biology. I have a deep passion for the ocean, conservation, & sharks! When I’m not teaching, you can find me laying out at Lake Hartwell or shopping till I drop with my little one!
I started in the childcare field in 2017 and have taught all ages and held admin positions before returning to the classroom in 2026. I’ve always had a passion for children and love watching their little minds work in every and any way! Seeing a child’s eyes light up and watching them grow into their own personality is why I do what I do! I am so very excited to be at Primrose!

Ms. Kiersten Frady
Hi, my name is Kiersten Frady! All my life, I have dreamed of working with children. It has become a passion of mine. I come from a huge family, I’m the oldest of six children and the oldest out of 12 cousins. Also, I have a dog and a cat who have the best personalities and they are my world. My hobbies include camping, racing and anything to do with nature.
One of my favorite adventures is when the entire family and all the pups go to the mountains during the summer and we all go camping. We spend that time away from our phones and internet, and just focus on the time spent together. We have done this for the past couple of summer and it has become a vacation we all get to look forward to during the year. I have such a love for people and kids in general and I believe stepping into this role will be a life changing experience. I can’t wait to start my journey with Primrose School of Athens!

Ms. Caroline Hardegree
Hi, my name is Caroline! I am currently a student at Valdosta State University pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I have always had a passion for children and caring for them, and I love watching them learn and grow into their own little person.
I am so excited to be a part of the Primrose School of Athens family as an Early Preschool Teacher. I believe every child deserves a safe, loving, and encouraging environment where they can feel confident and cared for. I enjoy helping children learn through play, creativity, and positive relationships.
Outside of work and school, I enjoy watching TV shows, going on walks, cooking, spending time with animals, family, and friends, and listening to music. I also enjoy fishing and crafting.

Hi, my name is Anajah Jackson, I relocated from New Haven, CT with my daughter in April of 2026. I enjoy being with my family and doing fun activities together like arts and crafts, playing board games and spending time outdoors.
I have been teaching for 13 years and recently received my CDA in infant-toddler. Teaching is my passion and it brings me so much joy.
I truly enjoy being a part of children’s early stages of development. It is rewarding to watch them reach important milestones, grow in their skills and confidence, and know that I played a role in supporting and encouraging them along the way.

Ms. Alix Sherry
Hi, my name is Alix Sherry! I moved to Athens almost a year ago from North Georgia to live with my wonderful boyfriend, and I couldn’t love it here more! I adore everything artistic and creative, as well as exploring and enjoying nature. I also have a bearded dragon named Zenny, who loves to play and eat salads.
In May of 2024, I graduated from Reinhardt University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music
Performance. When I wasn’t in classes or practicing, I was teaching flute and piano to students of varying ages. Teaching has always been something that I am truly passionate for, and I strive to encourage students to explore their creative side and express themselves to the fullest. I am thrilled to be a part of the Primrose team!
