Our Preschool Classroom
Your 3-year-old is opening up their world, developing special friendships, learning new words and forming new ideas every day. Through purposeful play, meaningful questions and direct instruction, our Preschool teachers encourage your child to think in new and different ways. Your child will have so much fun that they won’t even realize they’re developing the skills they’ll need for reading and math.

Our Preschool Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Eliza Torres
Let’s get to know each other.
I’m Eliza I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
I have experience in child care and teaching through my time at Primrose, where I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with young children and support their development. I graduated from high school and am currently pursuing my college education. One of my favorite aspects of working with children is watching them learn and grow—it’s incredibly rewarding to see their progress each day. I especially love reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar with them, as it’s a timeless favorite that sparks curiosity and joy.
My favorite holidays are Halloween and Christmas, and one of my most cherished family traditions is having Christmas dinner in matching pajamas. At home, we speak English and share our space with Bear, our lovable black lab. In my personal time, I enjoy crocheting, playing games, reading, spending time with my dog, watching TV, and hanging out with friends.
I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.

Ms. Marilee Hensley
Let’s get to know each other!
I’m Marilee, and I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised in Tennessee and moved to Ohio in 2014 to start my career in education. I graduated from Cedarville University with my BA in Early Childhood Education and have been teaching ever since. I am a mom to two kids; my daughter, Xayah, who is almost four, and my son, Nyx, who just turned one year old. My passion is to read and teach children. I love to read books to my class and kids.
I have 7 years of experience in childcare and teaching. My educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. My favorite thing about working with children is their curiosity for learning and seeing the “Aha” moment. I absolutely love the children’s book “The Very Hungry Caterpillar,” and my favorite holidays are Christmas and Halloween. Our favorite family tradition is opening one present on Christmas Eve. At home I have two cats named Nala and Chompers. In my personal time, I enjoy reading books, shopping, drawing and coloring, and watching movies.
I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.
