Mrs. Brenda Bartley
Mrs. Brenda Bartley
Director

Mrs. Bartley is the Director at Primrose School of Woodcreek Reserve. Brenda has over 21 years of experience working in Early Childhood Education. She was the Office Manager at a private preschool for over 10 years where she was actively involved with enrollment, teacher assistance, and parent communications. Brenda began her Primrose career as an Infant Classroom teacher in Huntsville, Alabama before moving to Texas with her family. She received her Directors Certification from the Child Care Education Institute and is licensed through the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services for Child Care Centers. She helped open the school in 2016. She enjoys her role as Director at Primrose School of Woodcreek Reserve and the opportunity to offer the best in Early Childhood Education. Brenda and her husband have four grown children and 3 grandchildren.

 

Mrs. Roxy Sifuentes

Assistant Director

Roxy Sifuentes is the Assistant Director at Primrose School of Woodcreek Reserve. She has 18 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. She has taught in several classrooms and became an Assistant Director in childcare three years ago. Roxy became a part of the Primrose Family in November 2017 and is working on her Texas Childcare Director’s License. She is excited to be a part of such a wonderful school that focuses on delivering the best in early education and care.

Director of Marketing

Mrs. Rachel Williams is the Director of Marketing. She attended Mississippi College, and she there pursued a degree in Sports Marketing. Rachel has been working in child care for 10 years, and she began working for Primrose in Madison, AL. After college, she then moved to Texas and began working at Primrose School of Woodcreek Reserve as an Explorer’s teacher. She remained in this position for a short period of time, and she then joined the Office Staff as an Office Assistant. In July of 2019, she became the new Director of Marketing for Primrose Schools of West Houston, Katy and Midland. She enjoys being in this position, as she gets to display her love for marketing, mentoring, and encouraging. Rachel is married, and she is excited for the future with Primrose School of Woodcreek Reserve.

 

Ms. Jasmine Castillo

Office Assistant

Ms. Jasmine Castillo is the Office Assistant at Primrose School of Woodcreek Reserve. She currently attends Lone Star College and is pursuing her Associate’s in Early Education. She began working at Primrose of Woodcreek in 2018 as our PPK closer. In 2021, she began working in our Preschool 1 classroom, but in 2020 she also began assisting our office staff in closing the building. During this time, Ms. Jasmine was able to prove she would be a wonderful fit for our front office staff! In August of 2022, she officially became a part of the leadership team. Jasmine is very unique to Primrose, as she grew up in Primrose Schools! She was a student from the ages of 3-11. She loves working and engaging with all of our families and students.

Operations Director

Mrs. Emery holds a degree in Early Childhood Education from Oregon State University. She has over 15 years of experience in this field, eight of them with Primrose. Mrs. Emery will oversee the implementation of daily operations and educational programming on the campus.

Mrs. Leslie Klipka
Mrs. Leslie Klipka
Education Director

Leslie Klipka began her service with Primrose Schools as a Lead Teacher in the Pre-Kindergarten classroom at Primrose School of West Cinco Ranch. Leslie now serves as the Education Director for Lou Ann and Michael McLaughlins six Primrose Schools. She has an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. As Education Director, Leslie is involved in all aspects of Primrose School early education from developing and supervising teaching staff training to assisting all management team members and teaching staff in classroom management. As such Leslie supports and supervises teacher curriculum and program delivery expectations, daily schedule implementation, as well as student behavior analysis and management. Leslie is also AdvancED (the schools Accreditation organization) trained and ELEOT certified. This designation allows her to assist all of our campuses during their accreditation and re-accreditation processes.

Michael and Lou Ann McLaughlin

Michael and Lou Ann McLaughlin are seasoned Primrose School owners with degrees in Education, Business and Law from Baylor University. Lou Ann’s degree includes a specialization in early childhood education, and she has taught Kindergarten and all elementary school grades in both public and private schools in Texas. Lou Ann holds a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Houston. She is a Texas certified preschool director and trainer. Lou Ann has served on numerous SACS/CITA accreditation committees and on the Primrose Advisory Council. She is currently serving on the Texas AdvancEd Council representing early childhood interests. Mr. and Mrs. McLaughlin are the proud recipients of the prestigious Primrose Schools President’s Award for outstanding achievement. They are active participants in the Houston Children’s Fund benefitting Houston’s most needy children. Michael and Lou Ann are the proud grandparents of five adorable grandchildren; two of them are Primrose students. Michael and Lou Ann have been serving the Katy and West Houston community for over 20 years now, beginning in 1999 when they opened up their very first school, Primrose School of Cinco Ranch. They have since added an additional 6 schools to the Katy and West Houston area, and have also built 2 more schools in Midland, Texas. They have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of the Primrose family, and they look forward to the future with Primrose!
