Health & Safety
Our daycare is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive. Below are just some of the things we do to keep safety at the forefront of everything we do.
-Maintain posted teacher-student ratios
-Continuous Health and Safety training for our staff, including CPR and First Aid certification and SIDS training
-Frequent handwashing for children and staff
-Daily (Infant and Toddler) and Weekly (Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten) washing of classroom toys and laundering of linens
-Regular disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch surfaces
-Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
-Children or staff showing respiratory illness symptoms, gastrointestinal disruption, rashes, or fever must remain home until symptoms subside or seen by licensed medical personnel

Ms. Padilla
Welcome to the Preschool 1 Classroom! My name is Ms. Padilla and I will be your child’s teacher. I have over seven years of teaching experience and am a registered behavior technician. In my spare time I enjoy painting, spending time with my sisters and traveling. I am looking forward to watching the children grow and reach their developmental milestones as they move towards kindergarten!
Mr. Shephard
My name is Mr. Shepherd and I started at the Primrose School of West Cary in October 2012 as the lead teacher in the Preschool 2 classroom. Prior to working at Primrose, I worked with the More at Four program and other nonprofit schools. I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and have been working with children since 2010. I have also been a personal trainer and believe in an active lifestyle. My goal is to help children be the very best they can be.
Ms. Bryant
Welcome to the Preschool 2 Classroom! My name is Ms. Bryant and I will be your child’s teacher. I have my Early Childhood Education credentials and am currently working towards completing my degree in Education. I have been a part of Primrose Schools for almost ten years and have a true passion for our Balanced Learning Curriculum and bringing it to life in the classroom! In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my children and family.
Ms. Cano
Welcome to the Preschool 2 Classroom! My name is Ms. Cano and I will be your child’s teacher. I relocated to the area and was previously a teacher at a Primrose in Texas. I am thrilled to join the team at Primrose West Cary and utilize my years of childcare experience. In the Preschool 2 classroom, I focus on helping children discover their interests, build independence, and develop confidence through engaging, play-based learning experiences. In my spare time I enjoy reading and spending time with family.
