Shannon holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Northern Kentucky University, where her dissertation focused on crisis leadership—an area she explored while guiding a school community through the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to joining Primrose, Shannon spent a decade teaching freshman English in a diverse public school setting. Though she loved the classroom, her true calling lies in educational leadership and cultivating positive school culture.

As both a leader and a parent — her daughter, Hannah, is a proud Primrose graduate — Shannon has seen firsthand the lifelong impact of a high-quality early childhood education. Originally from Utah, her family spent several years traveling across the country during her husband’s travel nursing career before settling in Cincinnati. Though they miss the mountains, they continue to explore the outdoors through travel and have just ten states left to complete their family’s 50-state bucket list.
