Our Preschool Pathways Classroom
Our Preschool Pathways program provides a “bridge” between our Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms for children whose birthdays will ultimately miss the cutoff date for kindergarten entrance. By identifying those children early, we can help them stay with a consistent group of peers through preschool, pre-K and kindergarten.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®

Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
Our Preschool Pathways Classroom Teachers & Staff

Shazia Rizwan
Mrs. Shazia Rizwan joined Primrose School of Sugar Land in April of 2021. Originally from Karachi, Pakistan, she moved here a few years ago with her family. Mrs. Shazia has Montessori training and many years of experience teaching in a preschool overseas.
One of her favorite memories is when a shy child began to open up and engage with classmates and activities. Witnessing their growth in confidence and social interactions is truly heart warming to her. She believes nurturing their early curiosity, witnessing their developmental milestones, and building meaningful connections positively impacts their young minds.
You will know if your child has been in Mrs. Shazia’s class when they come home and call you, “darling”, because Mrs. Shazia is always using that term of endearment.
Primrose School of Sugar Land faculty since April 2021!

Kenetra Sanders
Ms. Kenetra Sanders joined Primrose School of Sugar Land with 5 years of child care experience! Ms. Kenetra’s favorite part of working with children is getting to know them and learning their different personalities. She loves teaching her students through their individual interests and watching them light up as they learn!
Outside of work, Ms. Kenetra enjoys listening to music and playing with her little boy. While Christmas is her favorite holiday, it’s Family Reunions that she looks forward to the most! Ms. Kenetra always has a smile on her face and is ready to welcome the next new student to her classroom!
