Our Preschool Classroom
Your 3-year-old is opening up their world, developing special friendships, learning new words and forming new ideas every day. Through purposeful play, meaningful questions and direct instruction, our Preschool teachers encourage your child to think in new and different ways. Your child will have so much fun that they won’t even realize they’re developing the skills they’ll need for reading and math.

Our Preschool Classroom Teachers & Staff

Amira
Ms. Amira is originally from Brooklyn, NY, moved to Houston when she was 12 and just recently moved to Austin. She loves to spend time with her daughter, paint, write, and dabble in make-up. Before Primrose, Ms. Amira worked at another childcare facility in Houston and fell in love. She thinks children teach her something new every day and are so hilarious. Ms. Amira has enjoyed working at Primrose because she loves the family atmosphere and the consistent structure it provides for children. Her favorite children’s book is A Bad Case of Stripes and relates most to Og the Bookworm because she loves to read mystery novels.

Antonia
Ms. Antonia grew up just down the road in New Braunfels but recently moved to Austin. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching rom-coms, and being outdoors. Previously, she has been a nanny and excelled in student-teaching in high school. Ms. Antonia enjoyed working with four to five-year-olds because they exude energy, are fun to entertain, and because of their vibrant personalities. Her favorite children’s book is Corduroy, and she relates to our Primrose friend, Benjamin the Bear, because nature is exciting and unpredictable.

Madison
Ms. Madison was born in Austin, TX, and has lived here her whole life. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, taking her dog, Ziggy, to the dog park, and hanging out with friends. Ms. Madison’s favorite activity is to go to the beach and drive the golf carts around. She enjoys working at Primrose because of her bonds with her students and seeing them grow. Ms. Madison enjoys working with preschoolers because they say the most random things, bringing joy to her life. Her favorite children’s book series is Junie B. Jones series, and she relates to our Primrose friend, Peanut, because she finds honesty to be a great character trait.

Sidnei
Ms. Sidnei is from Fayetteville, NC, and has lived in Austin for 7 years. She enjoys hiking, playing volleyball, reading, and spending time with her fiancé and dog. Ms. Sidnei enjoys working with children because of their spontaneity, unpredictability, and quirkiness. Primrose is her first childcare experience; however, she enjoys Primrose because of the ability to enhance the curriculum creatively and the community of teachers, families, and friends. Ms. Sidnei’s favorite children’s book is Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss, and she relates to our Primrose friend, Benjamin, the most because of his generosity and his love for the outdoors.
