See What Families Are Saying

I am so grateful I found Primrose! My 17-month-old has been attending for two months, and I was super hesitant at first to introduce her to a new school after leaving her previous—and only—school because her favorite teacher left. With my Facebook nanny ad running concurrently, just in case things didn’t work out, I committed to giving Primrose two weeks, as suggested by the staff. It did take exactly two weeks, but almost to the day, she went from crying and dreading school to laughing and dancing her way into the classroom. I couldn’t be happier with the care she receives. Her teachers, are engaging and consistent. I love receiving pictures and helpful updates throughout the day about her activities and what she ate. I also appreciate how health-conscious Primrose is and trust them to provide nutritious, nutrient-dense meals. I’m so grateful I found this school and highly recommend it!

Primrose School of South Meridian

Our family has had such a wonderful experience with Primrose over the past two years. Our son started at another location and now attends Primrose School of South Meridian, and both schools have felt like home to us. From day one, the teachers and staff have shown such care, professionalism, and genuine love for the children. It’s clear how much intention goes into every aspect of the school day—from the thoughtfully designed curriculum to the warm, welcoming environment. We’ve seen significant growth in our son's academic, social, and emotional development, and we’re grateful for the consistency and encouragement he receives from his teachers. Knowing he’s excited to go to school every day and surrounded by people who truly care means the world to us. We feel incredibly grateful to be part of the Primrose community and can’t imagine a better place for our child to grow and thrive.

Primrose of South Meridian has been the best decision our family has made when it comes to childcare for our daughter! The entire administrative and teaching staff are highly qualified, compassionate, nurturing, and supportive! They make walking in the doors feel warm and inviting! Primrose's curriculum is outstanding and the staff really creates a safe, immersive, and fun learning experience for all the children! Our daughter has grown so much since she started at Primrose and we are so excited to be apart of the family!

This is the best place for early learning childcare! The staff and the teachers are hands-down so nice so caring and absolutely wonderful people. I have so appreciated the professionalism as well as the care they put into every experience for every kiddo. My daughter has learned so much in the six months that we’ve been here. I feel like they share the common goals for the class so we can work on the same things at home and that helps tremendously with seeing milestones. I love the outside of school activities that they host and I love that It’s always a fun and safe event open for the whole family to attend. We have thoroughly enjoyed our experience and I’m so glad they opened the south location because it really was a perfect fit for our family and our learning/educational goals for our daughter.

After being frustrated with limited learning growth at a daycare in KY for our daughter, Primrose was recommended to us.

From the first moment, we perceived a significant difference.  A personal and friendly greeting by the Director, the cleanliness of the building, seeing happy children and teachers – everything was at a higher level and clearly, centered on the children.

Yes, Primrose School of South Meridian is pending Cognia® accreditation, reflecting our commitment to providing a high-quality early learning and care experience for every child.

The Cognia® accreditation means that our curriculum, teaching practices, health and safety procedures and family partnerships are regularly evaluated against outside standards, and re-evaluated on an ongoing basis to stay current.

Accreditation is an ongoing process of continuous improvement that helps ensure we deliver a nurturing, engaging and high-quality learning environment where children can thrive.

We follow the Balanced Learning® approach, exclusively developed by Primrose Schools®, to nurture the whole child intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally.

Through Balanced Learning®, our dedicated teachers create engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion.

By thoughtfully combining purposeful play, guided discovery and nurturing support, we help your child build the skills to learn, grow and thrive, from our Infant classroom through Pre-Kindergarten.

Each day, our caring teachers combine structured learning, purposeful play and rest into a rhythm suited to every age group, integrated with circle time, small-group lessons, Children’s Choice Learning Centers, meals and rest.

At our school, children also have additional activities throughout the week, including our Enrichment Program Zoology with Benjamin®.

School readiness starts in our Infant classroom and grows through every stage of our Balanced Learning® approach, with each year building the academic, social-emotional and life skills children need for future success.

Using balanced assessments and ongoing teacher observations, we monitor each child’s development, individualize learning experiences and stay in close contact with families to support a confident transition to kindergarten and beyond.

Yes! Primrose School of South Meridian has a comprehensive campus playground designed for early exploration, climbing and running, giving children daily outdoor play as part of their regular schedule.

Our staff stay hands-on outdoors, running continuous safety checks throughout the day and watching closely as children play. Between the daily inspections, ongoing environmental monitoring and weather-related precautions, we ensure outdoor time is safe for every child.

Not for our younger classrooms. Children need to be potty-trained before entering our Preschool classroom (age 3), and our teachers partner one-on-one with each family to support potty training before then, at whatever pace fits the child. We keep the approach consistent between school and home so children build confidence in both places.

Of course! Our on-site chef prepares breakfast, lunch and snacks fresh each day in our own kitchen, all part of our Balanced Menus. Our lunch menus include favorites like a sub sandwich, broccoli and peaches, a turkey wrap served with veggies and cut apples, and pizza with a nutritious twist, giving children variety and proper nutrition throughout the week.

All foods and meals we serve are age-appropriate.

We work closely with each family to build an individualized plan, so every child eats safely and confidently at school.

Our teachers and kitchen staff are trained to accommodate gluten, wheat and celiac needs, peanut and tree nut and egg allergies, as well as vegetarian and vegan diets.

Our Balanced Learning® approach supports the whole child through purposeful play and nurturing guidance, paired with developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Through ongoing observations and differentiated instruction, our teachers tailor learning opportunities to support each child’s unique strengths, interests and stage of development.

By balancing child-initiated exploration with teacher-guided learning, we help children build confidence, independence, creativity and essential academic and social-emotional skills at their own pace.

When families partner with early intervention or specialized service providers, we welcome open communication and share what we’re seeing in the classroom to support the child’s experience.

Yes, every Primrose School team member completes a thorough background check before stepping into a classroom, then keeps CPR and first-aid certification current year after year. That standard holds true at every Primrose school, in every classroom.

Primrose School of South Meridian maintains teacher-to-child ratios that meet or are smaller than the requirements of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare for every age group.

Smaller ratios mean more one-on-one attention, so teachers have time to get to know your child individually.

Primrose School of South Meridian is licensed and regulated by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, which sets requirements for staff qualifications, health and safety, as well as classroom ratios.

We are also pending Cognia® accreditation, an additional layer of independent evaluation beyond state licensing.

Yes, trained members of school leadership at every Primrose school handle medication administration and know how to respond quickly and safely. Each child with medical needs also has a personalized care plan on file, so staff have clear direction the moment it matters.

Every classroom at a Primrose school follows a Safe School Plan built to help teachers respond without missing a step. Staff and children practice these drills monthly, and each school keeps its plan current so families know what to expect.

We use an app to keep families connected throughout the day, sharing photos, classroom activities, curriculum information, nap updates, diaper change and bathroom visit notifications.

The app also supports two-way communication, so staying in touch with your child’s teachers is simple.

We value open, ongoing communication and connect with families in person during drop-off and pick-up to talk through your child’s day, answer questions and share observations from the classroom.
