Teachers & Staff

Ms. LuAnn Watts
Hello everyone, my name is LuAnn Watts. I have been working in the Early Childhood Education profession for 29 years. Since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to be a teacher. I love the sense of community a school can create, the relationships between the families and educators, and the foundations we create for children’s early learning.
I started out as a teacher, working with infants to grade school aged children. I love all age groups, there is something special about the development and discoveries in each age group that is exciting to me. My priority is to provide a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for children to learn and grow.
I have six nieces and nephews who are my whole world. I have been a big part of their lives in one way or another. Besides spending time with my nieces and nephews, I enjoy photography, traveling, on and off Broadway shows, reading, and the coast. I also enjoy supporting the community. Primrose has given me more opportunities to do this with our giving projects and Adopt-a-grandparent. It is important for me to support our community whether it be for people in need or providing a service.

Ms Ophélie
Hello,
My name is Ophélie. I grew up in France where my mom had her own in-home daycare. I grew up helping her with the kids and building a community with those families, which I am still in touch with to this day.
After studying Tourism and working as a front desk and tour guide in a wine museum, I decided to move to the US as an Au Pair. After 2 years of taking care of the most adorable twins, I stayed in California with my husband and became a Local Consultant for Au Pairs.
We moved to Oregon in 2021 and started my career (officially) in Early Childhood Education. I started as a French Preschool teacher. After a year, I became the Educational Mentor, followed by becoming the Assistant Director. I got the opportunity to work for the city of Hillsboro as a Early Childhood Lead Teacher where I was creating programs for children between 1 to 5 years old. I later crossed path with Primrose and started to work there as a part-time support teacher to now being the Assistant Director.
I always loved working with children, seeing the light in their face when they remember something their learned. I also thrive creating a community when everyone support each other.
In my free time I enjoy photography, hikes, travels, spend time with my family and friends, read and bake.
