Through purposeful play, meaningful questions and direct instruction, our Preschool teachers encourage your child to think in new and different ways. Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Ms. Alisha
I’m Ms. Alisha. I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.
Child Care/Teaching Experience: I have worked in childcare since 2009 with infants through preschool.
Education: Associates in General Studies (family and human services). Currently working on my Bachelors in Psychology and Human Development. I am a Step 9 in Oregon Registry.
Favorite Thing About Working with Children: My favorite thing about working with children would have to be watching their personalities develop and grow. It’s a blessing to be able to watch each child develop in the different stages of their lives.
Favorite Children’s Book: My favorite children’s book would have to be “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom”. I read this to my daughter growing up and used it in classrooms with activities throughout my classrooms. It’s just a super fun and interactive book.
Favorite Holiday: CHRISTMAS. There is just something about the holiday spirit that puts everyone in a great mood. I love the holiday time because it means getting to spend more quality time with families, both at work and at home.
In My Personal Time, I Like To: I have three kids of my own, so a lot of my personal time is spent with them. I enjoy going hiking, a lot of the times they get to go with me. We enjoy getting outdoors as much as we can. I also enjoy spending time with my parents and siblings, the kids and I spend a lot of our time hanging out with family and making memories!

Ms. Caitlyn
Hi, my name is Ms. Caitlyn.
Child Care/Teaching Experience: 3 years il a licensed facility but many years nannying.
Education: High school + other teaching certifications
Favorite Thing About Working with Children: it’s a passion to assist with the children’s gross/ motor and social-emotional skills this early in life.
Favorite Children’s Book: Corduroy, Miss Rumphius and Pete the Cat books.
Favorite Holiday: Christmas.
Pets : 4 cats: Jason, Edie, Preston and Cecilia

Ms Emily
My name is Emily and I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
At Primrose, we’re more than a team of child care specialists. We’re also a family, and we care for every child as though they are our own. Like your home, our school provides a secure, nurturing environment that fosters self-discovery and a love of learning.
Child Care/Teaching Experience: I have been working with kids since I am 16 years old. I used to baby sitting but also ran my own classroom at the church my family goes to.
Education: I graduated high school in 2017 from ACMA with a Fine Art and Photography majors. I am currently in college for my ECE degree that I will finish in March 2027.
Favorite Thing About Working with Children : I love learning with kids. They are so smart and I love to see their face light up when they learn something new!
Favorite Children’s Book: The grouchy ladybug
Favorite Holiday: Halloween and 4th of July
Favorite Family Tradition: I love to go to Peacock lane with my family and eat new food.
Pets in the Home : 2 dogs : Oldest is Dallas, a Chewinee and the youngest, a mini poodle named Daphne.
In My Personal Time, I Like To: spend time with my mom and dogs. I also like getting tattoos and travels.
