Our Toddler Classroom
An action-packed day full of fun and purposeful play helps toddlers develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. We know 1-year-olds are constantly on the move, exploring and learning through play at every turn. Primrose teachers use that energy and enthusiasm to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills through engaging games and activities.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts

Our Toddler Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Hanna
Hi! I’m Ms. Hanna. I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.
Experience: I bring over 20 years of experience working with children and helping them learn, grow, and thrive each day.
Education: Lead Teacher Trainings
One of my favorite parts of working with children is being able to interact with them creatively and watch them learn something new every day. I love seeing their smiles and making learning fun and engaging for their inspiring young minds. My favorite children’s book is any book by Dr. Seuss!
Christmas and Easter are my favorite holidays, and I also enjoy celebrating Ethiopian Easter and Christmas with my family. One of our favorite family traditions is going out to eat together for special occasions and spending quality time together.
At home, we speak both English and Amharic. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, spending time with my children and husband, and traveling together as a family.

Ms. Violet
Hi! I’m Ms. Violet. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
Experience: I have 5 years of experience working in childcare, along with several years of babysitting. During that time, I’ve had the opportunity to care for children of all ages and build meaningful relationships with families.
Education: I hold my Maryland 90-Hour Infant/Toddler and Preschool Certifications.
My favorite thing about working with children is making them feel safe and loved—and, of course, having dance parties together!
One of my favorite children’s books is If You Give a Mouse a Cookie and If I Could Keep You Little because they’re fun, heartwarming stories that children love.
My favorite holiday is Christmas, and I also enjoy celebrating Mardi Gras since I grew up in Louisiana. One of my favorite family traditions is going out for sushi with my husband every Christmas.
At home, we speak English and a little American Sign Language (ASL). In my personal time, I enjoy hiking, participating in Bible studies, and traveling.
