Our Early Preschool Classroom
Many 2-year-olds want to do everything by themselves. And why not? It’s their way of experimenting and learning to understand the world. Early Preschool teachers provide a safe, nurturing environment where your child can explore and stretch their talents to the fullest all while building self-confidence. Your child will have fun every day as they play and learn important academic skills, social skills and more.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®

Their health & safety. Our top priority.
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with fever to return home and stay home until fever-free for at least 24 hours

- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
- Monthly emergency drills so children and staff are prepared for emergencies
Our Early Preschool Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Imani
I’m Ms. Imani. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
Experience: I began my journey in early childhood education as a teacher’s aide in a Pre-Kindergarten classroom, where I discovered my passion for supporting young learners. Over time, I gained experience working with children of all age groups who needed additional support.
Education: I graduated from Frostburg University with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with a focus in Early Childhood Education.
I truly enjoy watching children grow and develop across all areas, celebrating each milestone along the way. My favorite children’s books, The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Green Eggs and Ham, reflect my love for fun, engaging stories that spark imagination and learning.
I especially enjoy celebrating my birthday, along with holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving. Family traditions are very important to me, including birthday dinners with loved ones and wearing matching pajamas on Christmas Eve, moments that create lasting memories.
At home, I have a Yorkie Poodle named Royal, who brings lots of joy to my life. In my free time, I enjoy watching TV, spending time with friends, and making special memories with my goddaughter.

Ms. Ebony
I’m Ms. Ebony and I am so excited to be your teacher this year!
Experience: With over 12 years of experience in the childcare field, I have had the joy of working with children of all ages, from infants through 12-year-olds.
Education: My background includes certifications in Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and School-Age education, along with extensive related training, allowing me to support each child’s development at every stage.
I am passionate about watching children grow, learn, and truly enjoy life. The love and energy they bring each day make this work incredibly rewarding. One of my favorite children’s books, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, reflects the fun and curiosity that inspire meaningful learning experiences.
Christmas is my favorite time of year. I love decorating my home and spending cozy moments with family watching movies. I also enjoy celebrating Easter and Thanksgiving, especially as opportunities to come together and create lasting memories. Family traditions and quality time during the holidays are especially meaningful to me.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy running my small business where I create handmade jewelry and crafts. This creative outlet allows me to express my artistic side and bring a personal touch to everything I make.
