Director

Hello! My name is Meredith, and I am thrilled to serve as the Director at Primrose Schools Paramus!

I have worked with young children for more than 10 years now and have developed a deep passion for early childhood education. As a former Preschool teacher, I have learned that student success is built on the strength of the support system around them.

In my role as Director, I strive to create a strong and welcoming school community for all families, children, and teachers. I attended Southern New Hampshire University, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development Psychology as well as a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Curriculum Development. One of my favorite parts of working with young children is watching their growth year after year and celebrating all of their accomplishments along the way!

I grew up in Bergen County and often enjoy spending weekends at the lake or adventuring around local state parks with my husband and our two dogs, Rosco and Scout. I am very excited to begin this journey with the Primrose community and look forward to building meaningful relationships with all families!

I have 25 years of experience working with infants to preschool aged children. I have been a public preschool paraprofessional for the last nine years and employed in the same school ever since. When school reopens in September, I will still continue being a part of the Primrose family as support staff in the afternoons.

The sweet, caring and silly ways I interact with children, exemplifies the love I have for them and the joy they bring me, each and every day.

When I am not working with children, you can find me, in my craft room at home, designing decorative wreaths for any season, holiday or occasion, that can be hung on a front door of any home. What started out as a hobby, is now a small side business that I love and that is how Creative Carol’s Crafts all began!

My favorite thing about working with children is hearing their stories about how much they enjoy school, being with their families, and expressing their interests.

My favorite children’s book was the Magic Treehouse. It is a great transitional chapter book with easy reading and inclusion of illustrations.

In my personal time, I enjoy crocheting with a comforting Disney movie in the background.
