Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Dipika Khatri
Hello, my name is Dipika Khatri.
I am excited to be working at Primrose School of Paramus. I have been working in childcare for over two years. I love helping children grow and develop.
I attended Mumbai University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Working with children is truly rewarding.
I have two wonderful children who are my life. My family and I love spending time playing board games, traveling and watching movies.
I have been married for eleven years. I love cooking, trying different foods and listening to music.
I am honored to be part of the Primrose School of Paramus Family.
Carmen Caraballo
My childcare experience goes all the way back to my high school time, through volunteering on the campus to helping out at the local daycare.
I currently have a BA in English Literature and a MS in Educational Psychology to hopefully continue in my academic future.
My favorite thing about working with children is hearing their stories about how much they enjoy school, being with their families, and expressing their interests.
My favorite children’s book was the Magic Treehouse. It is a great transitional chapter book with easy reading and inclusion of illustrations.
In my personal time, I enjoy crocheting with a comforting Disney movie in the background.
