Ms. Hannah Rockwell
Hi, I’m Ms. Hannah!
Welcome to the Primrose School of North Olathe! I am honored to serve as the School Director and feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a wonderful school community. I joined the Primrose family in September 2023, and every day I am inspired by the incredible children, families, and teachers who make our school so special.
My passion for early childhood education began long before my career. Growing up, my mom owned an in-home daycare, so I was always surrounded by children. My very first job was babysitting, and I quickly realized that helping children learn and grow was exactly what I wanted to do.
I graduated from the University of Missouri–Columbia in 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. While I was in college, I taught at a Montessori preschool, where I discovered my passion for creating classrooms built on empathy, equity, and meaningful relationships. After graduation, I taught kindergarten for four years before becoming a director at a Head Start program. Although I loved each step of my journey, I missed working closely with younger children, which ultimately led me to Primrose—and I couldn’t be happier to call it home.
Originally from Jefferson City, Missouri, I’ve lived in the Kansas City area for the past six years. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring local restaurants and events, baking delicious desserts, and curling up with a good book. My niece and nephew still live in my hometown and are two of my favorite people in the world, so I cherish every opportunity to visit them. I also recently got engaged and am excited to be getting married next fall!
At Primrose, my favorite part of each day is building relationships with our families, supporting our incredible teachers, and watching children learn, grow, and discover their unique potential. I look forward to getting to know you and partnering with your family throughout your child’s early learning journey!

Ms. Julie Patino
Hi, I’m Ms. Julie!
Welcome to the Primrose School of North Olathe! I am proud to serve as the Assistant Director and truly love being part of such a caring, supportive school community. I joined the Primrose family in May 2025, and it has been an incredible experience watching our students learn, grow, and build confidence each day.
I have more than two years of experience in early childhood education and am currently continuing my education in the field. During my time at Primrose, I’ve had the opportunity to work in both our Infant and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms, giving me a deep appreciation for each stage of a child’s early learning journey. One of my favorite parts of my role is building meaningful relationships with our students, families, and teachers. Seeing the tremendous growth our children make in such a short time is one of the greatest rewards of my job.
I was born and raised in Kansas and am the proud mom of four beautiful daughters who inspire me every day. Outside of school, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and staying active. I am also fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing me to connect with and support many of the wonderful families in our school community.
It is a privilege to partner with our incredible teachers and families to provide a nurturing, engaging, and inspiring environment where every child can thrive.
I look forward to getting to know you and your family and welcoming you to the Primrose School of North Olathe!

Ms. Alma Perez
Hi, I’m Ms. Perez!

I’ve been a member of the Primrose family for more than five years, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to watch our school grow while building lasting relationships with our children, families, and team members.
I was born in Reynosa, Mexico, and have also lived in Germany and Texas before making Olathe my home. My husband and I have four wonderful children who keep life exciting, and I’m especially grateful that my youngest daughter attends Primrose. Knowing firsthand the love, care, and education she receives each day makes this school even more special to our family.
I enjoy being creative and bringing joy to our school through decorating and planning special events. Whether it’s celebrating holidays, preparing for family events, or creating a welcoming environment, I love making our school feel like a second home for everyone who walks through our doors.
I look forward to getting to know you and your family and helping make your experience at Primrose School of North Olathe a wonderful one!

Ms. Kelli Rich
Hi, I’m Ms. Rich!
Welcome to the Primrose School of North Olathe! I am proud to serve as the Curriculum Coach for our school and I have been part of the Primrose family for the past four years. During my time here, I’ve had the opportunity to teach in both our Preschool and Early Preschool 3 classrooms, where I discovered just how rewarding it is to help children learn, grow, and build confidence in themselves.
As an Curriculum Coach, I enjoy partnering with our teachers to support high-quality learning experiences and helping ensure every classroom provides a nurturing, engaging environment where children can thrive. Watching both our students and teachers grow is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.

Franchise Owner
Magda and Bob Wyko
Welcome to Primrose School of North Olathe! We are proud to bring high-quality preschool and child care to young children and families in the Johnson County community. Our connection to Primrose began as parents. Both of our children, Henrik and Helena, attended Primrose, and we saw firsthand how a nurturing, exceptional school can shape a child’s confidence, curiosity and development. That experience inspired us to bring the Primrose approach to more families in our community and ensure other children feel the same sense of encouragement and belonging our own children did.
Before becoming Franchise Owners, Magda spent more than 20 years in talent development and organizational strategy, creating people-first cultures where teams felt valued and supported. Bob brings a strong background in business operations and risk management and currently serves as Managing Counsel at National General, an Allstate Company. Together, our strengths allow us to build a school where teachers are empowered, systems are strong and families feel confident in the care their children receive.
At Primrose, we believe who children become is as important as what they know. Our exclusive early learning approach balances purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers to encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion. We are excited to meet you and your family!
