We know the first year of life can have a big influence on a child’s success in the years that follow. That’s why teachers in your child’s Infant classroom provide a loving and nurturing environment as they lay the foundation for learning. This includes literacy; communication and vocabulary skills to help your infant better express their needs; gross motor skills and sensory development; and emotional well-being.

Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Brenna Cook
Let’s get to know each other.
I’m Miss Brenna! I wanted to tell you a little about myself. During my free time I love to read and find new recipes to cook or bake! I have been with the Primrose School of Midland since 2025 but I had the opportunity to work over at another Primrose in Houston a couple years ago and love to be apart of your families Primrose journey!
Favorite Children’s Book: “Where the sidewalks ends” and “The Rainbow Fish”!
Primrose Character you most relate to: The Primrose Character I most relate to is Benjamin the Bear! As I like to be generous to others I also like to teach how to be generous to all our students!
What I love most about working with children: I love working with children as it is a joy to watch them grow and reach milestones! Especially working alongside infants they achieve milestones each day!

Melissa Martinez
Let’s get to know each other.
I’m Ms. Martinez! I wanted to tell you a little about myself. During my free time I love going shopping and to the movies. I am with my family as much as possible and love attending church. I have been with the Primrose family since 2019 and have loved every step of the way.
Favorite Children’s Book: “The Cat in The Hat”
Primrose Character you most relate to: I feel like I relate the most with Ally the Bunny because I believe taking responsibility for your work is very important!
What I love most about working with children: I love to watch them learn and grow!

I’m Mrs. Chesnut! I wanted to tell you a little about myself. During my free time I love to go kayaking and be active outdoors! I have been with the Primrose family since 2021 and love to be apart of your families Primrose journey!
Favorite Children’s Book: “Three Little Pigs”
Primrose Character you most relate to: The Primrose Character I most relate to is Peanut the Pony! As he also reminds our students to be honest and I encourage all people to be honest with who they are and always to do the right thing!
What I love most about working with children: I love working with children as they keep me on my toes! Watching them grow and hit milestones and have their own unique personalities make it so rewarding!
