Morghan Bills-Acord
Hi, I’m Morghan Bills-Acord, and I’m so excited to be part of the Primrose School of Lubbock South family!
I grew up right here in Lubbock and graduated from Monterey High School in 2012 before attending St. Edward’s University in Austin. After graduating in 2016, I began my career in early childhood education as an Early Preschool and Preschool Pathways teacher at Primrose School of Dripping Springs. I quickly fell in love with Primrose and the impact we have on children and families.
My journey eventually brought me back home to Lubbock, where I’ve had the privilege of growing with Primrose School of Lubbock South. This school has been part of some of the most important moments of my life; it has watched me marry my boyfriend of 10 years in 2022, and become a mom to my son in 2023 and my daughter in 2025.
One of my favorite parts of my journey is getting to experience Primrose from both sides, as a Director and as a parent. I truly understand the trust families place in us because I place that same trust in our school every day with my own children.
I’m so grateful to be part of this community and look forward to continuing to make Primrose a place where children, families, and teachers feel loved, supported, and at home. I can’t wait to get to know you and your family!

Hello, I am Monti! I am from Littlefield, TX but was raised right here in Lubbock. My mom has had her own daycare business ever since I was in middle school, so I’ve been around kids for the majority of my life and have loved it! I have been with Primrose since 2022 and was the Early Preschool 2 lead teacher for the past three years. I was the Teacher of the Year in 2024 and have a passion for teaching and inspiring. I also have an almost four-year-old daughter. A fun fact about me is I love shopping and a good lip gloss. I’m ready for this new school year in this new role as Assistant Director and I am excited to see some familiar faces come back ready to learn and have fun at the same time!

My name is Stevee Marez and I am so excited to have joined the Primrose School of Lubbock South family as Education Coordinator!
I was born and raised in Clovis, New Mexico and am currently going to school for my Bachelors in Education.
I have previously worked with different age groups at a different childcare facility in Lubbock but in 2022, I started my journey here at Primrose as the Preschool 1 lead teacher. I soon discovered that Primrose holds the highest standards of early childhood education, and also realized just how important purposeful play and nurturing guidance is during these early childhood years. I learned so much while being the preschool teacher which will aid me in my new adventure as Education Coordinator!
I look forward to helping teachers impliment our enriched curriculum and to be a part of the students educational growth!

Hey! My name is Autumn Hillis, and I am our Curriculum Coordinator. I began my journey with Primrose in 2023, where I had the opportunity to work in both our Preschool 2 and Pre-K classrooms for just shy of three years. This past summer, I was thrilled to take the next step in my Primrose journey by joining our leadership team! I am originally from Sweetwater, Texas, but I have called LBK home most of my life. Outside of work, I love getting outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and starting new crafting projects. This year, I am SO excited to take on the role of Curriculum Coordinator and support our amazing teachers and students! A fun fact about me is that I swam competitively for all of middle and high school!

Welcome to the Primrose School of Lubbock South!
I am Jaye Lynn Andrus, your local Primrose School of Lubbock South Franchise Owner! My husband, Jeremy Andrus, and I have two young children that will also be attending Primrose. We are both Texas Tech graduates! I received my degree in Early Childhood Education and was a teacher in the elementary school setting for many years. Jeremy is the owner of a family roofing company in town that has been in business for over 35 years.
Following graduation, my career began at a Primrose School. I also taught Kindergarten in public school for several years. After moving to Lubbock I continued to work part time as a tutor for a public school in town. I left education almost six years ago and thought I was ready for a different career path. I sampled a few different things, but something kept tugging at my heart and I would realize from time to time, I miss the children and I miss teaching! After becoming a mom in 2016, I quickly realized the HUGE need for quality childcare in Lubbock, Texas. There was nothing in town quite like a Primrose School. I woke in the middle of the night with the sudden urge that Lubbock NEEDS a Primrose School. When it comes to early childhood education my standards have always been high. Therefore, Primrose has always stood out to me, and over all the years of teaching I continued to carry on some of those core foundations I learned during my time at Primrose School. At Primrose School of Lubbock South, we will use an exclusive Balanced Learning™ approach to forge a path to a brighter future and a lifelong love of learning for all children. Children will also learn the foundational skills to develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies and Happy Hearts®.
