Our Preschool Pathways Classroom
Our Preschool Pathways program provides a “bridge” between our Early Preschool and Preschool classrooms for children whose birthdays will ultimately miss the cutoff date for kindergarten entrance. By identifying those children early, we can help them stay with a consistent group of peers through preschool, pre-K and kindergarten.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®

Mx. Anna Johnson
I’m Mx. Johnson. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and Spanish. While I have not worked formally with children before, I have three nieces and one nephew that I love with all of my heart! It is because of them that I decided to change my path to early childhood. I love seeing children grow, learn and change, so I am very excited to get to now all of the wonderful students and help them on their journeys. I grew up in Lake Zurich and recently moved to Wauconda, so the Chicagoland Suburbs will always be my home. I love to visit the city, but I am much more of a slower paced suburb person. Some things I enjoy doing in my free time are listening to Tom Petty. Painting, playing trumpet or piano, and of course being with my nieces and nephew!
I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.

Ms. Aleksa Rodriguez
I’m Ms. Rodriguez. I wanted to tell you a little about myself.
I have lived in Illinois my whole life. I graduated from Oswego High School in 2023 and attended Waubonsee Community College, where I studied Psychology. When I was younger, I babysat, which sparked my love for helping kids learn and grow. I enjoy learning new things myself, and brining that curiosity into the classroom, creating a positive space where every child feels valued and engaged.
I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family.
