Hello! My name is Ms. Nicole and I am the Area Director for our Garden Oaks, Summerwood and Lakeshore locations. I am originally from Houston, Texas and became apart of the Primrose Family in 2012. I have a BFA from Texas Tech University in Art Education, Early Childhood and a total of 15 years of early childhood experience. On the weekends, I enjoy playing outside with my three children. My favorite food is sushi and my favorite children’s book is “Mouse Paint” and “The Giving Tree”. The Primrose Pal I most relate to is Erwin the Dog because I too love art and making new friends! I am most excited to watch your children discover new wonders in the classroom.

My name is Jennifer Thames Gates and my friends call me Jeni. I have been working in The field of Early Childhood Education for about 38 years. I have taught Pre- Kindergarten 3 and 4 and Kindergarten. For 22 years, I was the Director of Memorial Crème de la Crème. I am excited to be part of the Primrose family!
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and am a Certified Director. I also work with The American Red Cross as CPR/ First Aid and CPR instructor.

When not working, I love being with my husband, my three children and my grandson, Mason. As they are all grown up, l fill my empty nest by coaching The CheerAbilities Team – The Rainboas of Stars Vipers Katy.

I have a strong passion for early childhood education and truly enjoy creating a safe, nurturing and fun environment where children can learn and grow. I value building strong relationships with our families, students, and staff, and I believe that open communication and teamwork are so important in creating a positive school community. I’m dedicated to supporting our teachers and helping provide the best possible experience for every child. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and finding new ways to stay creative and inspired.

Hi, my name is Lydia Ransom. I’m a bus driver, and I take great pride in my role because the safety and well-being of the children on my bus are always my top priority. I enjoy building positive relationships with the children and helping them start and end their day with a smile. In my free time, I love spending time with my grandchildren—they bring so much joy and laughter to my life.

I am Maria Mendoza, and would like to tell you about myself. I am from Monterrey, Mexico and graduated from Prep 57 High School in Mexico. My favorite foods are Tacos, Fajitas and Shrimp. I love to go dancing on the weekends. I am looking forward to learning new things, meeting new people, and doing well at my job.

My name is Kylee Wilson. I am currently a student at San Jacinto College, majoring in Teaching: EC-6th grade. I truly enjoy teaching and watching small children minds grow and step into their individualized personalities. I have always had a passion for children since I was a child myself. On my personal time I love to grow my faith and talk with God. I pray to be a light of joy in each of your childrens lives. Thank you for trusting me with their little minds!

I am very grateful to be part of this wonderful school and truly enjoy being in the classroom where I have the opportunity to work with infants. Working with babies is something I love because I enjoy watching them learn, grow, and reach new milestones each day. Meet Ms. Angela

We are so excited to have Ms. Angela as part of our Primrose family! With 26 years of experience in childcare and teaching, Ms. Angela brings a wealth of knowledge, patience, and a genuine passion for helping children learn and grow.

Ms. Angela holds her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and especially enjoys watching children develop the confidence, independence, and skills they will need as they grow. She believes that every child is unique and deserves a loving, nurturing environment where they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore.

When she isn’t in the classroom, Ms. Angela enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, relaxing with a good Netflix binge, and celebrating her favorite holiday—her birthday! She also loves children’s books, especially stories by Eric Carle.

Ms. Angela looks forward to building meaningful relationships with her students and families and creating a classroom filled with love, learning, laughter, and memorable experiences. We are grateful to have her experience and caring heart helping our little ones grow!

With 5 years of experience in childcare, Ms. Paula has a true passion for helping children learn, grow, and reach important milestones. One of her favorite parts of working with children is watching their personalities develop and celebrating each new accomplishment along the way.

Ms. Paula believes that every child deserves a safe, nurturing, and loving environment where they feel encouraged to explore, learn, and be themselves. She loves creating meaningful connections with her students and watching them grow throughout the year.

When she’s not in the classroom, Ms. Paula enjoys spending quality time with her family and playing her guitar. She especially looks forward to her family’s monthly gatherings, which are a special tradition for her. Her favorite holiday is Christmas, and one of her favorite children’s books is The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
