Our Pre-Kindergarten Classroom
Primrose® introduces and reinforces new information through playful exploration, teacher-guided inquiry and rich discussion as they help foster Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. Your child will have fun every day as they play and learn important academic skills, social skills and more, because when they are mentally, physically and emotionally ready to learn a skill, they develop mastery.

Our Pre-Kindergarten Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Ivonne
Hi, I’m Ms. Ivonne!
Originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco, I’ve had the pleasure of calling Colorado home since December of 1999.
My journey in Early Childhood Education spans 31 years, primarily dedicated to working with preschool to kindergarten-aged children. I’ve been a proud member of the Primrose School of Lafayette team since 2014, and I am particularly passionate about fostering kindergarten readiness and celebrating each child’s academic milestones.
When I’m not in the classroom, you’ll often find me enjoying quality time with my husband, whether we’re cooking up new recipes or exploring the scenic roads and trails on our bikes. My beloved dog, Pancho, keeps me active with our runs, and I also enjoy delving into informative books and cozying up with my cat, Malinche.
I genuinely look forward to getting to know you and your family better. Please don’t hesitate to stop by and say “Hello” or “¡Hola!”

Ms. Alaina
Hi I’m Ms. Alaina!
I am originally from Broomfield, Colorado.
I have a bachelors degree in Exercise Science from Fort Lewis College. I just recently moved back to Colorado from Missouri and now that I am settled in Colorado, I wanted to become an early childcare educator. After I resigned as an athletic trainer, I became a nanny for a couple of years. I then accepted a Pre-Kindergarten position in Leawood, KS and taught at that school for 10 years before relocating back to Colorado. I have been with Primrose Lafayette since August 2022.
I love watching children knowledge and skills expand throughout the year.
My favorite thing to do on the weekend is to travel to new places.

I have my estheticians license and my CNA.
I have a young daughter and motherhood and previous background in babysitting. I love to watch children learn and grow. It really sparked my interest in early childcare education. I am starting my credential training to become lead teacher qualified with Primrose Lafayette!

Ms. Miranda
Hi I’m Ms. Miranda!
I am originally from Thornton, Colorado.
I am an introvert, but once you get to know me, I can’t stop talking! I am kind and passionate about paying it forward. I hope someday I can attend film school, that is my goal.
I have 3 years experience working with young children, so naturally I gravitated towards becoming a teacher. I have previously worked in two other daycare centers as lead teacher and a cook.
I love painting and all things arts!
When I am not teaching children, I am spending time with my 3-year-old daughter. We like to go out and explore Colorado.

Hi I’m Ms. Samantha!
I am from Castle Rock, Colorado. I have previously worked for another Primrose during the summer of 2024 and found a passion for early childhood education through that experience. I am a current CU student working towards my associates of art degree.
When I am not in school or teaching children, I am usually drawing in my sketch book.
I look forward to being apart of Primrose School of Lafayette and meeting you all!
