Health & Safety

Their health & safety. Our top priority.

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

  • Requiring any children or staff with fever to return home and stay home until fever-free for at least 24 hours
  • Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
  • Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
  • Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
  • Individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
  • Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
  • Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
  • Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
  • Monthly emergency drills so children and staff are prepared for emergencies

Our Transitional Kindergarten Classroom Teachers & Staff

Mrs. Mayer
Mrs. Mayer
Transitional Kindergarten Teacher

Hello, I’m Mrs. Mayer, and I am one of our Transitional Kindergarten teachers here at Primrose. I began my Primrose journey in in 2012 and I have loved every moment of it! I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Cincinnati. I taught a self-contained classroom of fifth graders, as well as Math and science to sixth through eighth-grade students. I have also worked with children of all ages through my church nursery, youth groups, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and Education Committee. I have enjoyed working with Primrose students since January 2012. I believe that I am welcoming, friendly, and inclusive of the children, parents, and staff that I come in contact with each day. I’m excited to be here and will do my best to deliver a WOW experience. I look forward to getting to know my new students and their families.

I cannot wait to learn more about you and your family!
