Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Mrs. Hidalgo
Hello, I am Mrs. Hidalgo, one of the Preschool Teachers at the Primrose School of Hilliard Mill Run. As a graduate of Hilliard City Schools, I’m excited to have the opportunity to work in the community where I grew up. I love creating a fun, engaging classroom environment filled with laughter, learning, and meaningful connections. It is important to me that my students feel welcomed, supported, and excited to come to school each day. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and going hiking. I look forward to getting to know your family and being part of your child’s learning journey!
Mrs. Johnston
Hello! I’m Mrs. Johnston, a Preschool Teacher at Primrose School of Hilliard at Mill Run. I am a high school graduate and a licensed real estate agent. Creating an environment where every child feels comfortable, supported, and excited to learn is very important to me. I look forward to building strong, meaningful relationships with each child and family who walks through my classroom doors. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring the outdoors through hiking. I am excited to get to know your family!
Ms. Lane
Hello! I’m Ms. Lane, a Preschool Teacher at the Primrose School of Hilliard at Mill Run. I am currently studying to become an engineer, and I love bringing my curiosity and enthusiasm for learning into the classroom. My favorite part of being an educator is seeing the excitement on a child’s face when they master a new skill. Those moments of growth and discovery are rewarding! Outside of the classroom, I enjoy running, baking, and doing pottery. I can’t wait to meet your family and get to know you and your child!
