Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Mrs. Butler
My name is Mrs. Butler. I have over 7 years of childcare experience. Some of my favorites include pizza, sweet tea, the colors red, and yellow. On the weekends I enjoy spending my time going shopping or baking homemade dog treats. My favorite children’s book is Brown Bear Brown Bear. The Primrose character I relate to most is Billy the Duck because we both love singing and dancing! I enjoy teaching because I love watching the children learn and grow. I’m excited to get to know my co-workers, our students and our families.

Ms. Salas
Hello! My name is Ms. Salas! I am from Taylor, Texas, and I bring one year of childcare experience to the classroom. Some of my favorite things are tamales, Dr Pepper, and the colors purple and yellow. One of my favorite children’s books is If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. In my free time, I enjoy going to the movies. The Primrose Friend I relate to most is Molly the Cow because of her caring and dependable nature. I am looking forward to getting to know my students and their families, creating meaningful connections, and helping each child learn and grow throughout the year!

Ms. Johnson
My name is Ms. Johnson and I’m from Saginaw, Michigan. I am an outgoing, fun-loving team player. I have over 30 years experience working with children. I love eating tacos and my favorite drink is Pepsi. My favorite colors are red and green. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, crafting and bowling. I enjoy teaching because I get to play a part in my students’ growth and development. The Primrose character I relate to most is Billy the Duck because I love music. I look forward to learning more about the Primrose Way, working with great staff, and having fun teaching my students.

Ms. Mize
Hi! My name is Ms. Mize, and I am from Georgetown, Texas. I have five years of childcare experience and am currently continuing my education! Some of my favorite things include teal, country music, and the movie Marley and Me. I love reading a good book on the weekends, and one of my favorite children’s books is The Lorax. In my free time, I enjoy singing, dancing, and doing different kinds of crafts. One fun fact about me is that I love Dr. Pepper and sour cream and onion chips — they are some of my favorites! The Primrose character that I relate to most is Benjamin the Bear because of his caring and friendly personality.
