Our Pre-Kindergarten Classroom
Primrose® introduces and reinforces new information through playful exploration, teacher-guided inquiry and rich discussion as they help foster Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. Your child will have fun every day as they play and learn important academic skills, social skills and more, because when they are mentally, physically and emotionally ready to learn a skill, they develop mastery.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts

Our Pre-Kindergarten Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Shankar
Hello, my name is Ms. Shankar! I earned a bachelors degree in business administration. I’ve always enjoyed working with children and am passionate about teaching them new skills. My purpose as a teacher is to help students reach developmental milestones. I’m married and have two amazing children. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and shopping. I’m so excited to learn about my students and grow alongside them!

Ms. Buckles
Hello, my name is Meron Buckles.
I have been working with children for over 10 years, and I truly love teaching because it encourages me to slow down, be present, and appreciate the small things in life. Working with children also gives me the opportunity to be creative and find new, engaging ways to help them learn and grow.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy expressing my creativity through painting and digital design. When I’m not working on a creative project, I love spending time outdoors. I’m a big fan of hiking and staying active through organized sports, especially volleyball.

Ms. Carter
Hello, my name is Hanna Carter-Rice.
I have been working with children for the past four years and have spent the last three years working in child care. I have always enjoyed creating fun and meaningful memories with children while watching them learn, grow, and reach new milestones.
In my free time, I enjoy shopping and doing arts and crafts. I am excited to be part of the school community and look forward to getting to know all of the children.
