Hi, my name is Bela Desai, and I am thrilled to lead such amazing schools as the Franchise Owner-Operating Partner for the Rigley Primrose Schools. I am grateful for the opportunity to lead such a strong and nurturing team! I am committed to continue to represent Primrose in Dr. Rigley’s distinguished brand.

I’ve held various positions throughout my journey with previous Primrose ownership group as a infant teacher, toddler teacher, pre-kindergarten teacher, office manager, and director of admissions. I joined the Rigley Primrose team in 2020 with over 15 years of Primrose experience as the education director, executive director, and regional director for our 4 Dallas locations for over 4 years and now operating partner with Dr. Noel Rigley for all 6 locations in DFW! I am excited to extend my support to our Plano and Frisco leadership successes and ensure all aspects of the school is maintained at all times!

In 2018 I made a career change. I joined a childcare corporate company for a year and half. I served as a Consultant and Mentor for over 50 Franchisee’s and Directors guiding best practices to provide high-quality early childhood education. It was during this time I came to the realization that my heart was with Primrose.

I am originally from Kansas City. I moved to the Lone Star state for my college education in Nursing. While in college, my journey in teaching began with Primrose Schools in 2009. Primrose helped me realize my true passion, Early Childhood Education! I was motivated to pursue my degree in the field of education. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Health Studies in Child Development and my Master’s in Education in Educational Leadership. I am certified in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. I have also received my Texas Training Registry to conduct faculty trainings in the state of Texas.

I am proud to share Dr. Rigley’s passion to provide the best in Early Education within a nurturing and positive learning environment and committed to guiding the best practices of Primrose in order to provide high-quality early childhood education for all those I guide and inspire.

I am very excited to be at Primrose School of Frisco West! My educational background consists of a master’s degree in Psychology with emphasis in Life Coaching and a bachelor’s degree is in Organizational Leadership. My experience with Primrose started as the Office Manager, Director of Admissions, and now as the Executive Director. My passion is to equip and empower others to see and reach their greatest potential, and fulfill their passion in life. I am a mom of 3 sons – one who is active military, one who will be finishing high school this year, and my youngest is in third grade. I am happily married to the kindest man I know. We enjoy the outdoors, helping others, and are leaders in our local church. I feel I have the perfect opportunity to bring my experience, education, and passion to the Primrose Frisco West children, staff, and families.

I have been working with children since 2009 starting with children’s ministry. I then became a teacher in 2012 and later began my Primrose career in 2014. I then moved into leadership in 2019. I am currently the Assistant Director here at Primrose School of Frisco West and I am pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Psychology. My passion and inspiration comes from making a difference in the lives of others and always encouraging others. I enjoy serving in ministry, mentorship programs, and volunteering in my community.

I have over a decade of experience teaching children. I started off as a teacher in Primrose and have since moved into leadership as the Director of Education. I am very passionate about helping teachers become passionate in what they do and enjoy working closely with them to catch the vision of our school and what we do every day as educators. I enjoy being around children and being a part of their educational development and I love to explore new areas, and being outdoors. I also love doing crafts.

I started working with children in 2019 after graduating in 2017 from Little Elm High School. I started off as an Explorers teacher in 2019 at Primrose but have taught different age groups as well. In 2020, I began to transition into an Early Preschool/Pathways classroom and loved every minute of it. In 2024, I moved into leadership as Administrative Assistant. What makes me passionate about working at Primrose is being able to see new and old faces and being able to make the children smile and enjoy themselves. It is such a joy to be a part of such a great team. During my free time, I enjoy drawing, catching up on some shows and spending time with family and friends.

Child Care/Teaching Experience: I have about 2 ½ years of experience working with children. I worked as a counselor with teens ages 10-14 at Plano Family YMCA. I also did ABA therapy and RBT with ages 2-7. Before joining Primrose, I was a Developmental Instructor for Infants – Toddlers.

Education: I received my diploma and majored in B.A. Psychology from Grinnell College. I am currently in progress of receiving my M.S. Clinical Mental Health as a counselor.

Favorite Thing About Working with Children: I love the light, pureness, joy and love they have, it is a joy working with children!
