Our Toddler Classroom
An action-packed day full of fun and purposeful play helps toddlers develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®. We know 1-year-olds are constantly on the move, exploring and learning through play at every turn. Primrose teachers use that energy and enthusiasm to foster cognitive, social, emotional and physical skills through engaging games and activities.
Nurturing Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts

Our Toddler Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Torres
I am originally from Wayne. Nebraska, and I graduated from Wayne State College with a degree in Communication Studies. I have always enjoyed working with people, and especially taking care of others. Working with children has made me realize that connection and understanding is extremely important. I love how children discover their new likes and their curiosity about life is touching and always reminds me that we were once children, too. I am patient, have good interpersonal communication and leadership skills, and I work well under pressure. I am excited to learn, grow, fail…and learn again!

Ms. Cervantes
I am originally from Grand Island, Nebraska. I have enjoyed working with children in the past and I love witnessing their daily growth and all the fun moments that happen when you work with children. I try to bring patience, good communication skills, and safety awareness to my role as a teacher. I was attracted to Primrose because of how passionate the Director was!

McClurg
I recently moved back to Omaha after living in Miami. I have worked as a nanny for many years and also attended nursing school for two years. I love making a positive impact on a child’s day. I am patient, understanding, and positive. I immediately noticed how organized the school seems and how friendly everyone is.

Ms. Fromme
I am originally from Hickman, Nebraska and attended Kishwaukee Community College for a period of time. I have spent the past four years working with children in a childcare setting. I love to see children grow and their personalities develop into who they will be! As a teacher, I am patient and compassionate, and love to bring creativity to the classroom.

Ms. Schrader
I have attended Metropolitan Community College for early childhood education. I most recently worked in a childcare setting. I love being part of the changes in a child’s life—watching them develop their own sense of self and personality. When working with children I try to be patient, encouraging, loving, compassionate, and a good communicator. I love the Primrose mission of commitment to providing the best possible education and care for children.
