Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with fever to return home and stay home until fever-free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
- Monthly emergency drills so children and staff are prepared for emergencies

Heidi Dembrosky
Hello! My name is Ms. Heidi, and I am one of the Young Toddler Teachers here at The Primrose School of Exton. I have always loved working with children. I love seeing children learn and being a part of it. Watching them explore the world around them is fascinating to me. I am excited about spending time with your kids. I grew up in a small town named Hyde Park in Vermont. In high school and College I spent my summers working as a camp counselor for children ages 3-5 at Smuggler’s Notch Resort. I went to Green Mountain College in southern Vermont where I met my husband, Bryant I have two daughters Kaitlyn, 20 and Meghan, 14. While I was a stay at home with my girls I made the decision that when I went back to work I wanted it to be in a daycare because I enjoyed watching my girls grow, learn and explore the world around them. We have 2 dogs Allie and Lulu. I love animals I grew up with cats, I have also had ferrets, rabbits, and rats. We spend summers as a family going to Vermont to visit my family. We also spend time at my in-laws Condo on Lake George in New York. Our favorite summer vacation as a family is our annual trip to the Outer Banks. When I am not working or on vacation I like to spend time with my family, do crafts, read and spending time outside. I cannot wait to learn more about you and your family!
Amber Duncan
Hi, I’m Amber!
I began working in childcare in January of 2025. I am so excited and grateful to be part of the Primrose family as of April 2026. I have always loved working with children and have been involved in childcare since high school.
My experience includes serving in my church’s children’s ministry with both 1–2-year-olds and 4–5-year-olds, as well as providing babysitting for children ages 1–12 through community groups. I have also had the opportunity to work with my church’s PK Buddies program, supporting children on the autism spectrum, which has been especially meaningful to me.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, hiking, and playing the viola. I also love staying active in my church community. Growing up with a sister on the autism spectrum has given me a deeper understanding and appreciation for supporting every child’s unique needs.
I look forward to learning and growing alongside the children I work with and building strong connections with the families in our community!
Atziry Pelayo Alvarez
Hello! My name is Miss Atziry, and I am so excited to join the team here at The Primrose School of Exton. I’m 24 years old, have my own business selling self defense keychains, and have a daughter who is my whole world. I am a very fun, outgoing person, and I love getting to know new people. I have worked in many different facets of childcare over the years. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my daughter, hang out with friends, and go on trips. I cannot wait to learn more about you and your families!
Natalie Leonard
Hello! My name is Miss Natalie, and I am in the Toddler classroom here at The Primrose School of Exton. I have been in childcare for about a decade. I started nannying in high school, and I loved it! Working with young kids and getting to watch them grow is my passion! I cannot wait to continue to follow my passion and continue to grow at Primrose! In my spare time, I like to hang out with family and friends, travel to new places, and try new things. I’m excited for this opportunity to meet your families!
