Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Hello, my name is Dallana. I have been working with children for 3 years and I absolutely love it. I am currently enrolled in DeAnza, where I am pursuing a degree in child development. My goal is to become an elementary school teacher. I like nature, dancing and reading. I am looking forward to teaching at Primrose School of Evergreen!

Hello, my name is Deisy Cruz, and I have been working with infants and toddlers for over four years. I am passionate about early childhood education and love helping young children grow and develop during such a crucial stage in their lives. I find it rewarding to create a nurturing environment where they can explore, learn, and thrive.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling to new places, and relaxing at the beach. I’m excited about the opportunity to join Primrose School of Evergreen and look forward to being part of a community that shares my passion for fostering children’s growth and development.

Hi, my name is Siena! I graduated with my Associates in Psychology and Liberal Arts, along with multiple units in ECE. I used to work at Boys and Girls Club of Silicon Valley, working with six year olds. I have also grown up in the preschool/afterschool program space since I was five years old up until high school! In my free time I love to watch movies, play video games, and hang out with friends and family. I’m excited to join Primrose to get to know my fellow staff, parents and especially the children as I want to create a safe space for them to learn and grow!

Greetings! I’m Priyanka, and my academic journey commenced with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering from India. However, my path took a rewarding turn four years ago when I lent a hand with schoolwork to my friends’ children. This experience unveiled my passion for nurturing young minds and making a positive impact in the lives of our youngest learners. I pursued and attained a degree in Early Childhood Education from MTEC Bay Area. Since then, I’ve been dedicating my professional life to working with children at a Montessori school, where each day is a new opportunity to influence our future generations positively. Beyond my professional life, I find joy and solace in gardening, hiking, cooking, and cherishing moments with my family. These activities not only enrich my personal life but also inspire me to bring new perspectives and energy into my teaching.

Hi, I’m Raquel! My goal at Primrose School is to share the experience I’ve gained from working at three different schools and continue to grow by learning from the children and other teachers. I’m passionate about creating a positive, engaging environment where kids feel supported and excited to learn. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music, staying active with fitness, building with Legos, caring for my plants, and playing with my chunky orange cat. I’m excited to bring my energy, creativity, and love for working with children to the Primrose team!

Hello, my name is Vijaya! I am super excited and very proud to be a Primrose teacher. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Science Biology. I also have a certificate of achievement in child development and have more than 10 years of teaching experience. I can help children to develop physically, emotionally, and socially. I believe each child is unique ! I love to read stories and have the children participate in music and movements. I love watching the children grow and encouraging children to follow their interest.

In my free time, I love to watch movies, listen to music, hiking, and traveling with my family. My favorite food I love to eat is Pizza!

Shape Sort

The children practiced their shapes with puzzles by noticing the angles and sides of each piece. They noticed how many sides, points, angles and how the shapes are alike or different. Then they sorted shapes on the plates.

Early Art Masters: Winter Wonderland Mural

Our twos created a winter wonderland mural by mixing blue and white to make a lighter color of blue. They added different brush strokes to create snow and crumple tissue paper.

Texture Ramps

During Wonder Time 2, the class investigated how the texture of the ramp can affect the speed of their toy car. They saw how fast the car moved fast on the smooth ramp and when adding a piece of felt to the end of the ramp made the car go slower.

Early Art Masters: Brush Your Paint 🪞🎨

In our Early Preschool class, we read the book Caring for Your Teeth by Sian Smith. The students used a child safe mirror to look at their beautiful faces and explained what they saw when they opened their mouth. They pretended to use their fingers as a toothbrush and to brush up and down, then side to side. 🪥

Celebrating Hair

Our Primrose Friends came to visit us and brought a mystery box with different textures. We celebrated the different textures and color of our hair. We reached our hand in the mystery box and tried describing the different textures and guessed what it could be!

Welcome to EPS1 Hair Salon!

Today we talked about hair stylists. We then practiced our hair combing and cutting skills with our babies. We discussed who provides help and other community helpers or occupations.

Thumbs Up: Throwing

The children were invited to practice throwing bean bags into the hula hoop. To warm up, the children walked around the 5 hula hoops, jumped inside and out of it, then balanced the bean bag on a body part. The children then threw the bean bag into the hula hoop 8-10 times.

Dramatic Play in EPS

Our Early Preschoolers were busy exploring the world through dramatic play! They had a blast pretending to be doctors, checking the baby's heartbeat and nurturing their imaginations. 🩺 👶🏼🫀

All About Me Poster

The children created their own posters with stickers, crayons, and a picture of themselves. We also shared our posters that we brought from home. We discussed that every family is different and how our family members love and comfort us.
