Health & Safety

A Safe, Clean, and Caring Environment

At Primrose School of Eldorado, we are committed to the highest standards of safety and cleanliness while creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Our Health & Safety Practices Include:

  • Illness Policy: Children and staff showing symptoms of respiratory illness or fever are required to stay home until they are fever-free for at least 24 hours.

  • Frequent Sanitizing: High-touch toys and surfaces are disinfected regularly throughout the day.

  • Built-In Handwashing: Handwashing is integrated into our curriculum and daily routines for both children and staff.

  • Illness Awareness: Teachers are trained to recognize common signs of illness in children, with reminder signage placed in every classroom.

  • Clean Sleep Environments: Infant crib sheets are laundered daily. Older children each have a designated cot and blanket, which are laundered weekly.

  • Proper Ratios: We maintain appropriate teacher-to-student ratios to ensure quality supervision and care.

  • Certified Staff: Our teachers receive ongoing health and safety training, including CPR and first aid certification.

  • Safe School Plan: Every classroom has an up-to-date, customized Safe School Plan posted for quick and easy access.

  • Field Trip & Bus Safety: All staff complete field trip and bus safety training and drills. Before summer field trips begin, we even conduct a fun, age-appropriate safety drill with the children to help prepare them in an engaging and reassuring way.

These proactive measures help us create a safe and supportive learning environment for every child, every day.

Our family would love to meet yours.
