Teachers & Staff

Ms. Sushmita
I am delighted to introduce myself as the new Director. With over 15 years of experience in the field of education, I have had the privilege of growing alongside my profession—beginning as a teacher, advancing to Assistant Director, and now stepping into the role of Director.
Having walked this path, I deeply understand the needs of both children and educators. As an award-winning teacher, one of my greatest joys is receiving heartfelt messages from parents whose children I once taught. Their gratitude for the positive influence I had in shaping their young learners is, to me, the most meaningful achievement of my career. I carry those experiences with me as I lead—infusing my work with a teacher’s heart and a leader’s vision.
Academically, I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education from the American Montessori Society, a master’s degree in information technology, and a bachelor’s degree in science. This diverse academic background allows me to bring a well-rounded and forward-thinking perspective to early education.
On a personal note, I’m a proud mother of two wonderful children—my daughter, a sophomore, and my 10-year-old son. Our family also includes our playful puppy, Cheeni. My husband is a professor at Johns Hopkins University, and we all share a strong passion for learning and community.
I look forward to working closely with you to support the growth and development of every child in our care. Thank you for warmly welcoming me into your school family.
