Welcome to Primrose School of East Windsor!
We are Rashmi Agarwal and Shailendra Poddar, the proud owners of Primrose School of East Windsor. We have two wonderful children—a daughter who attends college in Boston and a son who is in high school. We also have a cute puppy named Enzo. We both come from business backgrounds and from families where education was always valued as the foundation for independence and personal growth.
We are proud to bring high-quality early childhood education to the vibrant, diverse, and family-friendly community of East Windsor, New Jersey. Our goal is to help create a path toward a brighter future for every child we serve.
Rashmi is a Certified Public Accountant who has worked in leadership roles in the finance industry for more than 20 years. She played an integral role in shaping and growing a large company while managing both U.S. and international operations. As a working mother, she realized early on how important high-quality early childhood education and care are in shaping children’s futures. Owning and operating an early childhood education center had always been her dream. After researching many education providers, she was deeply drawn to the mission and vision of Primrose and decided to open a Primrose school with her husband.
Shailendra is a technology executive with extensive leadership experience. He previously owned a business and has managed teams, staff, and operations throughout his career.
Our goal is to ensure that our school becomes an extension of your home and family. We are committed to hiring, developing, and retaining an experienced, engaged, and caring team that not only delivers the Primrose curriculum but also models the positive values of the Primrose family. We believe that a happy and supported team creates a joyful experience for both children and parents.
At Primrose, we believe that who children become is just as important as what they know. Primrose offers a research-informed, time-tested curriculum through its Balanced Learning® approach, which combines purposeful play with nurturing guidance from teachers. This approach encourages curiosity, creativity, confidence, and compassion in every child. We provide more than a curriculum—we create a life-changing early learning experience for children and their families.
Choosing care for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent, and we are confident you will love Primrose School of East Windsor. We hope you will give us the opportunity to show you the difference we can make in helping children develop Active Minds, Healthy Bodies, and Happy Hearts®.
The importance of education has always been central in our lives, and Primrose embodies the values we hold dear. We have seen firsthand how a strong early education foundation positively impacts children, and we are excited to share those benefits with your family.
