Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
- Monthly emergency drills so children and staff are prepared for emergencies

Ms. Michelle Rogers
Ms. Michelle has been a part of the East Lake team since 2011, but has over 20 years of experience in early childhood education. She holds her CDA and uses her kind heart and genuine passion for children to create and environment where our students feel valued, supported, and encouraged to grow!
Ms. Tamara Hutchins
Ms. Hutchins is a valued member of our Primrose East Lake team. She has served this school for over 28 years where she has helped implement engaging lesson plans, support children’s daily routines, and create meaningful learning experiences. Ms. Hutchins enjoys fostering curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving through hands-on activities while building strong relationships with children and their families.
Ms. Hailey Gonzalez
Ms. Hailey holds her TCC in Early Childhood Education and is also fluent in Spanish, bringing valuable language skills to our classrooms. Her ability to adapt to the needs of her students and her creative lesson-planning skills help create engaging and meaningful learning experiences each day.
