Many 2-year-olds want to do everything by themselves. And why not? It’s their way of experimenting and learning to understand the world. Early Preschool teachers provide a safe, nurturing environment where your child can explore and stretch their talents to the fullest all while building self-confidence. Health & Safety
Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
- Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
- Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
- Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
- Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
- Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
- Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
- Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access
Our Early Preschool Classroom Teachers & Staff

Ms. Selina
Ms. Boahene joined the Primrose School of Dunwoody in June 2008 and brings more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Shorter University and has a passion for helping children learn through laughter, creativity, and meaningful experiences. Ms. Boahene believes the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach provides children with the foundation they need to thrive. Her experience, warmth, and dedication make her a valued member of our Primrose community.

Ms. Javon
Ms. Javon joined the Primrose School of Dunwoody in 2025, bringing four years of childcare experience and a true passion for early childhood education. She enjoys helping children reach important developmental milestones while providing a classroom filled with love, encouragement, and joyful learning experiences. Ms. Javon is committed to helping every child feel confident, supported, and excited to learn. Her caring heart and positive energy make her a valued member of our Primrose community.

Ms. Sherlyn
Ms. Sherlyn joined the Primrose School of Dunwoody in September 2022 as a Work-Based Learning Teacher. She is currently pursuing her degree at Kennesaw State University and enjoys working alongside teachers, children, and families to create a positive learning environment. Ms. Sherlyn is passionate about supporting children’s growth while building meaningful relationships throughout the school community. Her enthusiasm and willingness to learn make her a valued member of our Primrose community.

Ms. Jennifer
Ms. Jennifer is a valued member of our Early Preschool team. She brings a diverse professional background in leadership, operations management, and early childhood education, including experience as a Lead Preschool Teacher. Her passion for working with young children, combined with her strong organizational and communication skills, allows her to create engaging learning experiences while building meaningful relationships with children and families. Ms. Jennifer enjoys fostering curiosity, confidence, and independence in the classroom and believes every child deserves a positive and nurturing environment in which to learn and grow. She is excited to be part of each child’s educational journey and to help create lasting memories at Primrose School of Dunwoody.
