This kindergarten is wonderful! All of the teachers are kind, caring, and deeply dedicated to education. As a native Japanese speaker, I struggle with English and can find communication challenging at times, but the staff is always thoughtful, attentive, and supportive. The educational curriculum is fantastic, and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. On top of that, the school provides meals that are not only delicious, but also well-balanced and health-conscious. I couldn't ask for a better environment for my child!

Welcome! We have been blessed to have opened the Primrose School of Dublin and to be a part of so many families in the area. When the school opened in 2006 it was our pleasure to introduce the Primrose Balanced Learning philosophy to Dublin. Since then, twelve more schools have joined us in the Columbus market proving the lasting impact that Primrose is having on families across the country.
We are both from Columbus and have three beautiful children; Ethan,…

Primrose School of Dublin is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., year-round.
We close for the following federal holidays each year: Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the day after, and Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day. Our families receive this schedule well in advance so they can plan ahead each season.
Yes, Primrose School of Dublin is Cognia® accredited and an Approved Child Care® Aware Provider, reflecting our commitment to providing a high-quality early learning and care experience for every child.
These recognitions mean our curriculum, teaching practices, health and safety procedures and family partnerships are regularly evaluated against outside standards and re-evaluated on an ongoing basis to stay current.
Accreditation is not a one-time achievement. It is an ongoing process of continuous improvement that helps ensure we deliver a nurturing, engaging and high-quality learning environment where children can thrive.
We follow the Balanced Learning® approach, exclusively developed by Primrose Schools®, to nurture the whole child intellectually, physically, socially and emotionally.
Through Balanced Learning®, our dedicated teachers create engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, confidence and compassion.
By thoughtfully blending purposeful play, guided discovery and nurturing support, we help your child build the skills to learn, grow and thrive, from our Infant classroom through Transitional Kindergarten.
Each day, our caring teachers combine structured learning, purposeful play and rest into a rhythm suited to every age group, integrated with circle time, small-group lessons, Children’s Choice Learning Centers, meals and rest.
School readiness begins in our Infant program and grows through every stage of our Balanced Learning® approach, with each year building the academic, social-emotional and life skills children need for future success.
Using balanced assessments and ongoing teacher observations, we monitor each child’s development, individualize learning experiences and partner with families through regular communication to support a confident transition to kindergarten and beyond.
No, we welcome your child even if they are not fully potty-trained.
Our teachers partner closely with each family, supporting potty training at whatever pace works best for your child and keeping the same approach between school and home.
Yes! Our large, fenced playgrounds feature clean artificial turf and full overhead green sunshade sails, so children enjoy outdoor play every day, right on our own campus.
Our playgrounds are carefully monitored to ensure children can explore, play and learn safely. Staff remain actively involved in children’s play experiences, perform daily safety checks and maintain constant supervision. Daily safety inspections, ongoing environmental monitoring and weather-related precautions help create a secure outdoor experience for every child.
Yes, we offer before- and after-school pickup from the following schools: Bailey, Bishop, Deer Run, Eli Pinney, Glacier, Wyandot, Indian Run and St. Brigid.
After school, your child heads straight into homework time, and there’s still plenty of the afternoon left for outdoor play before we close at 6:00 p.m.
Of course! Our on-site chef prepares breakfast, lunch and snacks fresh each day in our own culinary kitchen, all part of our Balanced Menus. At Primrose School of Dublin, breakfast rotates through options like fresh baked blueberry muffins and sliced oranges, giving children a wholesome start to the day.
Our lunch menus include favorites like cheese tortellini with marinara sauce, turkey chili with mashed beans and shredded cheese, and cheese pizza with sliced oranges, giving children variety and proper nutrition throughout the week.
All foods and meals are age-appropriate.
We work closely with each family to build an individualized plan, so your child eats safely and confidently at our school.
At Primrose School of Dublin, our teachers and kitchen staff are trained to accommodate gluten, wheat and celiac needs, peanut and tree nut allergies, milk and dairy allergies, egg allergies, as well as vegetarian, vegan, kosher and halal diets.
Our Balanced Learning® approach is designed to meet children where they are. Teachers adapt activities, instruction and support to match each child’s developmental stage and learning needs.
Through purposeful play and nurturing guidance, we help every child build confidence and grow at their own pace.
For families working with outside early intervention or special education providers, our teachers welcome ongoing communication to help support the child’s experience in the classroom.
Yes, every team member at Primrose School of Dublin passes a detailed background check before joining our school and keeps current CPR and first-aid certification the entire time they’re on staff. Every adult in every classroom meets that same standard.
Primrose School of Dublin maintains teacher-to-child ratios that meet or fall below the requirements of the Ohio Department of Children and Youth for every age group.
Smaller ratios mean more one-on-one attention, so teachers have time to get to know your child individually.
The state agency overseeing our licensing is the Ohio Department of Children and Youth, and that means our staffing, health and safety practices and classroom ratios all meet its standards.
We are also Cognia® accredited and Child Care Aware® approved. Both recognitions involve outside reviewers evaluating our school independently.
Yes. Medication administration at Primrose School of Dublin is handled by our school leadership, who are trained to respond quickly and safely to each child’s needs.
For any child with medical needs, leadership keeps an individualized care plan on file, so they know exactly how to respond.
Every classroom at a Primrose school follows a Safe School Plan built to help teachers respond without missing a step. Staff and children practice these drills monthly, and each school keeps its plan current so families know what to expect.
We use an app to keep families connected throughout the day by sharing photos, classroom activities, curriculum information, nap updates, and diaper change and bathroom visit notifications.
The app also offers two-way communication, making it easy to stay in touch with your child’s teachers.
In addition, we value open, ongoing communication and connect with families in person during drop-off and pick-up to discuss your child’s day, answer questions and share observations from the classroom.
