Health & Safety

Our school is committed to high standards of safety and cleanliness as we create a caring and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Requiring any children or staff with respiratory illness symptoms or fever to return home and stay home until fever free for at least 24 hours
Frequent disinfecting and sanitizing of high-touch toys
Frequent handwashing by children and staff, which is embedded in our curriculum and daily staff protocols
Training teachers on common signs of illness in children, and placing signage in every classroom to keep signs of illness top of mind
Daily laundering of crib sheets for infants; for older children, individual cots and blankets are provided for each child and laundered weekly
Ensuring appropriate teacher-student classroom ratios
Continuous health & safety training for our staff, including first aid and CPR certification
Maintaining an up-to-date and customized Safe School Plan posted in all classrooms for easy teacher access

Mrs. Reddy

Pre-Kindergarten Lead Teacher

Mrs. Reddy, originally from Michigan and with a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development degree is eager to guide our Pre-Kindergarten children through our Balanced Learning curriculum. She has many years of experience working with children aged Toddler to Pre-K.

She chose to become a teacher with Primrose for the curriculum and how the staff make you feel welcome and treat you with respect.

Pre-Kindergarten Assistant Teacher

Mrs. Rupali assists in our Pre-Kindergarten classroom and prior was a long time assistant in our Pathways classroom. She loves to read stories with the children and assist in their developmental growth.

Noggin' Joggin'

To build upon previous knowledge, our Pre-Kindergarten children are encouraged to ask questions to lead to further understanding of previous and current concepts. We understand that all children learn and absorb information differently, therefore our curriculum offers many opportunities for children to master the appropriate developmental skills.

Small Group Literacy

When it comes to Phonics, our teachers work with children in small groups with activities that teach alliteration, rhyming, phonemic awareness, letter sounds and letter tracing. Letter recognition continues in this class along with beginning to learn the sounds of each letter.
